Just started this grow almost a month ago. This is my first hydro attempt. I have quite a few good outdoor grows under my belt and wanted to try something new. What do you you think of this setup? I got 2 18" grow flouros and 4 100w cfl. Total lumens over 7000. I got 2 other cfl's im gonna put in a a couple days. You think I can get a decent harvest from these lights? Cant afford hps right now.

I just got home from a three week trip and thankfully came back to healthy plants. The only thing that bummed me out was on the top of one of the girls, there is some pretty bad light burn. I moved things around and the lights up, so hopefully she will start to look better in a few days. This is there 5th week of flowering and things are looking good. On the one cola that got light burn, almost all of the hairs are a dark pink. I cant figure out what it is yet, my guess is some sort of deficiency because I haven't gave them fresh nutes in awhile. Hope you enjoy some of these pics while I finish chiefin this bowl. :roorrip:

Just got done switching out my solution and thought id take some more bud shots while out. The light burn is starting to look a little better, though there are little brown spots that developed brown spots on some leaves as you can see in the pictures. Probably going to start flushing in a few days. I did some research on the pink hairs because I have never seen anything like it, and I guess it is just part of the dna. Pretty sweet for just being some bag seed I had.

If you want to lower you chances of burning your plants I would remove the aluminum foil from the walls and under the plant. White paint or mylar works best. ;-) Very pretty plants!

Thanks everyone. I only have one piece of foil up and thats on the back wall. Ill take it down when the lights come on. Underneath the plants I used a dorrito's bag, so far no noticeable hot spots. I have tried looking for mylar, but cant find it anywhere around here. Ill pick some up next time I got to the hydro store.

Week 6 of flowering. Took a couple shots today and thought id share em. Trichs are starting to cloud up and some amber, so probably going to start flushing in the next couple of days. These strange brown spots have started to appear again. I am not really sure what they are. Looked everywhere for bugs and no signs of anything. This has happened before. I live in the city so I think it has something to do with the water. I took 2 pics of the same leaf, different lighting. Anyone have any suggestions on what the problem might be? it is much appreciated. Other than this problem, everything is lookin gooood.

Huh. No solution has spilled on any leaves of my plants.I have taken precautions when ever using nutes around her. The spots seem to only be on the top fan leaves, as you can see in the pic. I am using Fox Farm hydro grow big and tiger bloom. I havent been very happy with them, so next time around im gonna try something else.

Day 48. Leaves are still looking bad. There are these little banana looking things growing out of some of the calyxes. I did some reading, they are male flowers. I have been picking all of them off, so hopefully it wont be a problem, maybe a few seeds here and there. Do you think this will affect my crop in a negative way? Started flushing last night when lights came on. I plan on flushing for a week. I have heard of different ways to flush and using salt, not sure about that though. This is my first hydro grow so I am a little unsure on what to do. What do you guys do to flush your plants and come out with a good crop? Thanks in advance and hope you like some of these bud shots

Day 53. Some leaves are lookin better, others worse. I am almost positive it is the water quality so I have been filling up 10 tub with water and letting it sit out for a couple days. Been flushing for a couple days now. Right now im planning on harvesting this Thursday or Friday. Everyday the trichs are building up and she is really starting to rankk. I cant quite put my finger on the smell, it is an almost pinney sour smell and I love it. I took some bud porn shots and thought i would share.
