35 degrees Friday, are my plants going to be ok?

Hello all, It's supposed to get down to about 35 degrees Friday and was wondering if my outdoor plants will be alright? They are very large mature plants. What do you all think? Thanks.

yes it’s supposed to. This is just a freak one day thing.

Ok cool, as long as it doesn’t freeze they should be fine

I would get a tarp over them just to make sure .
Back in late April we had a late cold night ( air temp got down to 34* )
Didn’t freeze but I had some flowers severely damaged.
The plants I covered had no damage.

Ok now they changed the forecast to closer to high 30’s to low 40’s.

I am here in south western ontario. Going down to about 39 every night for the next 4 days here

Should not be any problem. The plants can handle light frost and temps down into the upper 20s. They even tolerate some snow.

There is a photo on the message board of someone's plant which is covered in so much frost on a cold night that it looks like an inch of snow.
