system: hydro grow

container: 65 litres, round, drainage holes

light: 1000 watt HPS

medium: rockwool flakes, medium size, sterilized and pH balanced at 5.5

18hrs: 6 weeks

12hrs: 10 weeks

feed: own secret cocktail (lots of P and K, quality trace elements)

pH: from 5.5 at start to 6.9 at harvest, steady controlled increase

EC: 18hrs from 1.1 t0 1.5, 12hrs from 1.5 to 2.0 to 1.1 at harvest, regular flush

temp air: 20-22 *C night, 27-29 *C day

RH air: 55-65% during 18hrs, 40-50% during 12hrs

Greetings Franco!

I am a HUGE fan and admirer of yours and Arjan, and truly appreciate your detail and professionalism that is evident in how much information you guys willingly give about your strains.

I have a few questions for you if you have time and willingness to answer:

1 - What is the benefit of rockwool granulate as opposed to expanded clay pebbles?

2 - If I begin testing an open system with rockwool granulate, what is a benchmark feeding schedule to begin with? (the reason I am asking this, is because the ONLY system I have used in the past is ebb and flow with timed feedings.)

3 - When you manually feed, do you provide nutrients each feeding, or nutrients with water some feedings, and plain water on other feedings? Do you divide your Overall EC over the course of the week, or do you give the target EC (say 1.8) each feeding?

I think that's about it for now, and I will try and leave you to your business in the future.
