quick photo update. i just got a 4in carbon filter & i need to get a doubled up blanket and sheet of nylon stapled up around the closet entrance again. i'll go for one more week of veg & then flip on the 15th.

flipped to 12/12 on november 17.
i've been keeping the environment steady around 75 degrees F and 35 RH. yesterday i finally PH'ed my runoff on both plants & they're doing good around 6.3 PH. fire seemed to need some lower shade leaves plucked off so i took care of that. looks to me like it's time to start feeding her a bit of grow nutes aswell but i could use a second opinion

Those leaves are suspiciously dark, and some of those leaves are turning downward near the top. To me, this looks like an excess of N, and slight tip burning.

Measuring pH of runoff does not give you any useful information. You really do not need to pH your mix in soil at all. If you're experiencing issues, it's almost certainly lockout.

I would flush these plants with water on your next run and then do a light feeding to see if they start to exhibit a better color and growth pattern.

It's hard to armchair diagnose, so getting a second opinion is worth it. Calling on @Emilya again!

aye, thank you for weighing in, vulx! nice getting an experienced pair of eyes involved when you only got one fresh eye to see what you're doing

it's about time for the next watering, so i'll go along with what you told me. i've been using the well water from our tap in alteration with the clean RO lately and it occurs to me that i never wrote that down here. now that you've pointed out the possible excess i'm pretty dubious about that water... so i'll flush with RO & keep it RO only from here on out, can't hurt anything

day 28 of 12/12, 1.5 weeks of flower growth so far. i bought a 32x32x64 tent and built it in the closet yesterday.
i postponed the feeding after switching back to RO (also didn't flush because there wasn't enough water) and the leaves are getting their normal color back. I'm going to let the pot dry out & go for a full flush this time to speed up the recovery

some fucken little satan spawns spider mites just erupted from the bell pepper plant so i removed it after dusting down some DE, there weren't too many on the girls as far as i could see so hopefully i won't have to bring out the vinegar/baking soda solution.
fire og got her first feeding last night, a quarter dose of flower fuel and a big flake of floranova grow that happened to fall into the water when i opened the bottle to check it.
the moulin rouge got a haircut too (bit more than i wanted because i had to take a couple fans that were hours away from being infested)

i finally took the time to clip off some bottom flowers and fix her canopy a bunch. everything was everywhere.

moulin rouge is the real burlesque baby in this tent so far

late update because I've been in a bad spot
the spider mites came back and pretty much destroyed most of the fire og before i could afford effective & safe pesticides. uyyyy.......
i'll let her go to see if it's worth it to keep growing, however the moulin rouge is mostly fine. i'll be able to get in & take some pictures of the wreckage later today (edit: yes i figured out what vinegar/baking soda does to weeds before even trying it)
