just a couple of questions as im new to coco.

when doing ppm do i include the original water readings to final ppm, so my water is 200ppm so do i count this or go from zero. hope that makes sense.

also when do i need to start adding nutes, a lot of conflicting views on this. a lot say straight away and some say a week or 2, my first thought was straight away at a really low ppm ( note my first question. 200ppm water)

also germinating in root riot cubes and have fox farm nutes and advanced sensi calmag xl

thanks

I start with 1/4 strength at week 2 in coco as coco has no nutes in it.
First week they have stored enough with riot cubes may be some days longer.

With your ppm you have to try , in veg I would ignore it first.

feed from day 1 so that you are starting to condition the coco. include ppm in final reading. coco is hydroponic medium and you need to feed nutrients everyday for best results. feed enough so the pot is almost dry 24 hours later and ready to feed again (if hand watering), dont allow it to dry out completely to the point that plants wilt.

around 1.4-1.5ec (700-750ppm) is perfect for vegging and upto 2.2ec (1100ppm) in flower.
