Just checked trichomes today on upper and lower buds . Bunch of amber on them 3 so I put them into the dark for 24 hours and they will be coming down tomorrow morning .
The other 1 isnt ready yet ill give her about a week or so . The experiment atleast 2 weeks left on her .

I hear that if you don't do 72hrs dark, don't bother. Apparently any less isn't ample to stress into resin production. May wanna look into it. Anyone?

If i were to do the dark cycle id go 72 hours, best way to stress them is withold water for 3-4 days at the end.

Penny i haven't watered the 3 mature since last flush saturday . Figured I'd be harvesting this weekend so I didn't bother all week .

Yes I did. And mine are in hydroton with no water. They were fine. And REALLY sticky.

Yeah I'm following mikes lead here. Looks like 72 hour dark really helps leach out the resins.

Day 61 update
Harvested my most mature, smallest plant.
The other three aren't quite ready yet I still see clear trichomes on various parts of the lower buds .
I'll give them a final check on Tuesday to decide if the big day is friday or next Monday, either way theyll be getting 72 hours of darkness like this girl did .
The experiment will need about 2 or 3 weeks .

I've been up since 5 a.m trimming. Luckily I had my bro and my girl help and it got done in 3 hours.
Im expecting 25 percent of that total weight for dry
Weight . Maybe 90 grams highest cause she was the smallest .

That's right on man. The big ones are gonna be well over a 750 each wet. No problem on the one pound tent. And I mean anyone can grow a shitty pound your gonna grow a dank ass pound.

Super sticky buds man !
The smell is intoxicating, sweet, lemon,skunky and piney!
Omg I love the aroma right now .
Im using the trimmings to make brownies. I was lucky enough to have sweet sue send me her bio bomb brownies . I'll work on that first batch next week .

I'd like to mention that i noticed a significant amount of growth and density on those lower buds . They are actually usable which i can owe to the Cali lights .

Friday is the big day guys!!!
I just checked them all this morning theres enough amber and cloudy to take them down now but it's back to work for me so i may have to wait until Friday.
This experimental plant is throwing me off looking at it . it shows not very many orange hairs and are swollen . the trichomes are cloudy and Amber i think I under estimated this one . Heres a couple pics .

Strange .
Looking under the microscope tells a different story . What's up with that ?

I was planning on using my Cali lights to finish off the autos .
Look like i gotta go back to the drawing board .
