Your girls are looking amazing!!! I've been trying to figure this same question out and it's hard to get a good answer. I believe the consensus was you shouldn't because of their short life but then I came across a guy who does really heavy defoliation, like one leaf per bud site heavy, and ends up with a really nice yield. He also mainlines and lollipops which are all supposed to be bad. I think the information gets a bit confusing because of how far the autoflowers have come over the last few years. Now by no means am I an experienced grower because I'm only on my second grow but I'm doing an experiment with 3 plants all the same genetics. One will only be topped in a 3 gallon pot, one will be light defoliation and lst, one will be topped at the third, mainlined and heavy defoliation. So I figured I will learn alot about what happens. Here is a pic of my one girl that just got pinned down and all fan leaves removed. This picture was yesterday and when I came home today all her tips were trying to turn to the light. So who knows but I'm hoping to find out. Wish me luck!!Nice Rico. Anybody else defoliate autos? Mine are starting to get real leafy
