start with everything ...

seriously .. your entire environment : media, temps, air circulation, nutes light ... you provide it all.
start small like you are doing and ramp up. lose the miracle grow. get better media, lights nutes etc.

read up on a few journals. see what works for others and copy at first. you'll learn what works best for you and adapt. it's not tough. just a little work. you'll get there.

to start give us a run down of what you have going. it's not a bad micro grow.

It takes time to learn the plants. First year is hardest. You will make mistakes. But you do fine. Simple is best but plants are touchy to say the least. Try fail and try again. Listen to these guys here and you will do fine

Good morning @Bubrown1982 hope you are well my friend.
Welcome to 420magazine.
Height can be increased by vegging your ladies for a longer period of time.
When you flip to flower they will double in size.
So if you vegged you lady until she was a foot tall before flip she'd be 2 feet approximately.
Unless you grow autos.
What are you growing? What light do you have?
That can effect it too.

As others have stated, start doing everything better. Environment is very important, temps, RH, air quality. Be sure to get a powerful light. If you cannot afford much, then get a cheap HPS. They work way better than cheap LEDs.
