Help for a first time grower?

Started my first grow 2 days ago after I got some clones from a friend of a friend.
I got 7 x 3inch tall clones in rockwool and 6 x 5inch tall clones in rockwool in soil.
A couple of the small ones that were only in rockwool started looking a bit crappy yesterday, looks like they dried out a little while I was busy making the tubs.
I haven't transplanted them all yet, until I know they aren't stressed from all the environment changes last couple days.
Ive taken some advice and reduced the water intake as I think I was overwatering.
Also just using PH'd water with no nutrients to rule out nitrogen toxicity.

Any comments / suggestions / help will be appreciated.

My setup is;

1.2x1.2x1.8 approx. grow tent
400W MH Superveg
2 x 6x6 mesh pot trays on 40L tubs

Temp is around 22C.
PH 5.8
Not sure on humidity, I think it would be too low.

400W of MH seems a bit much for such small clones. You might want to use some ad-hoc CF till the little one get bigger. Misting little ones can really help as well.
Other than that, it seems good.

Hmm I think they are just dried out. Fresh clones need very high humidity when they are transplanted because the roots haven't been set up yet, limiting how much water they can drink through the roots. Spraying them gives them some moisture through the leaves keeping them alive longer imo

Were the clones rooted when you got them? It may be easier to place them in a humidity dome instead of misting them multiple times per day. Otherwise, as others mentioned, you'll have to keep them hydrated. Also as Tead mentioned, clones don't need much light until they root.

They are all rooted, ones in soil more than the rockwool.
All range from between 3 and 6 inches tall.
All going a lot better now.
Had my ballast re-wired today so now it is out of the tent, so less heat.
Added 2x200LPH Aerators and 2x2 foot Air curtains this morning.
Also added 2 ceramic bowls of water and a wet towel to increase humidity.
