Welcome johnnie. Depending on your aquarium water environment, your question can have different answers in my opinion. Also, The potting mix you have it can have fertilizers which then mixed with your aquarium water it could create problems, but it might have different effects in coco or hydroponic.

What is your aquarium water environments. PH pen and ppm/ec reader would help.
Having a masterkit water tester would also be beneficial as you can find out what the NPK is.

I use fish hydrolysate now and again. If your not using your filter waste and just using the "used" water you should be ok.

If yer talking the dredges out of your filter that might be pretty hot. I'd try it on another plant first and definitely not seedlings they dont need anything until like 2 to 3 sets of true leaves.
