How did this Happen? Self topping auto?

My Tangerine Dream auto, 30 days old, just started flowering. I noticed this branch second set of branches from the bottom, that looks like it topped itself, has anyone seen this before?

lol Come to think about it, I had to keep my previous dog away from my first grow because he was nibbling the leaves. But I keep my lil doggie away because of the strength of the light. yeah maybe I snapped it and didn't notice.
