How many regular seeds to plant to get a male?

This is a 2 part question. 1st question I have some skunk#1 regular seeds and I want a male to get polination and breed with another strain, how many to pop to get a male. Part 2 is I have 2 fem seeds to choose from. one is a Mont Blanc and the other is Chocolate Heaven. I am thinking of leaning to an indoor grow of mont blanc/skunk But any reason the chocolate heaven skunk would be better

The chances of male or female is 50 / 50. The more you plant the more you'll approach that statistic.
Really though, there's always a chance you get all males or all females, no matter the sample size lol.

Yea I'll just take a chance on 5 seeds and hope. Sprouting the seeds is a chance as well. They have been in a jar in the fridge for a year with a couple of desiccant packs to keep them dry.

A male seed will grow a male plant. A female seed will grow a female plant under the right conditions. If the environment is only close to "correct" you will get hermaphrodite. If your environment stresses the female enough it will be male dominant hermi. Light schedule and temp fluctuations in veg are key stressors. I have pulled one branch through the tent door to screw with lighting and created one hermi branch mid flower. Was growing the last seed I had from 1983 mowi shipment so I needed to make more.

If you are growing all in the same space and don't want to stress the females you have to roll the dice on non-feminized seeds. Generally had 25% male back when I grew non-fem outside.

Well I am just hoping that I get a male right now they are day 2 in germinating and two have cracked open. I opened a jar of 3year old G13 feminized and got a few seeds. I put them in storage to germinate.

I simulated a light leak during flower. Same grow light outside and inside the tent on 12/12. Had a 60wat equivalent compact florescent 4 feet away from the branch on for an additional 4 hours. Only made a few bananas but enough for that branch to make a dozen seeds. rest of the plant was seedless.

Just when you think things are going well and you overall are well within the odds of 50/50, you get a run like my last one. 10 seeds came up. Two and a half months later, I now know I got 3 females out of that bunch. All that time and effort, nutes, soil and lights... and I got 3. Sometimes you just can't catch a break. Other times, you go for a while with 90% females... you just never know. 5 is a good number to play the odds with... Good Luck!

Depends most the time one out every five will be male others iv heard say one outta ten ur odds are in bestween

The chances of landing on red or black is also 50/50.

However!
