Thanks. I was just looking at Seedsman. I will check Dr seed next. Hoping to find someplace with as many deals and that will communicate when something goes wrong. Lol
Thanks. I went through the sponsors last night and was able to get some new seeds on the way. Today my vent system should be in and Monday, my new quantum boards.
Now last night, I made sure to get deep in to my plants and started looking for sex. I think I found 1 male, 1 female, 1 herm and still 1 unknown. The unknown, I figure will end up herm too, due to both of these seeds had some serious cold stress in their seedling stage. I will let them grow a bit to be sure. For now, here is what i found.
Last night I went ahead and tried my hand at LST and some slight pruning. Over all, I think that went well.
Then, this morning, my new quantum board came in. I have to get some more yoyo hangers, and upgrade my fans finally, but my tent is pumping out some serious light.
So a lot has happened over this week. I set up my vent system and had to remove the mars hydro for the moment. I'm waiting for an extra support bar to come in to hang it back in the tent. I've been battling the cold this week and finally gave in and put a small space heater right outside of the tent last night. Only left it going a couple of hours before shutting it off. I guess I had it running too hot and it burnt a couple of my plants in a couple of spots. I feel like a bad parent.
Oh yeah! I forgot to add that I had my new seeds show up! After the horrible experience with True North, I went through this site's sponsors and found New420SeedGuy. I had some issues with his site, but he was very communicative and resolved them quickly.
So it has been a bit since I posted but not a lot to report. I did wait a bit too long to start fertilizing and am now dealing with a nitrogen deficiency in my largest plant. But I will get to that further in the report.
1-30 I reinstalled the TS1000 and watered. Noticed the yellowing of lower leaves.
2-3 I amended the top soil and watered. I wish I would have went straight for making compost tea here.
2-4 temperatures dropped and house heater decided to go out. Had to move oil heaters in to room with the tent, but nothing pointed at plants. Learned my lesson there.
2-6 LST the youngest 2 plants and first attempt at super cropping. I split a couple of branches open but not much. Used duct tape to hold together.
2-12 folier fed and root drenched plants with compost tea made from Roots Organic's Terp Tea Grow and a bit of molasses.
2-13 today I got back in and started training some of the plants that were getting tall. Also applied some super cropping. The split branches from last week seem to be mostly healed up.
So, here are some pics of the girls tonight. I think all my LST has done pretty well at keeping these Sativa girls short and this tent is starting to get pretty full.
