Maui Waui trichomes

My Maui Waui plant's trichomes are mostly all cloudy with a few amber (5-10%). Can these be placed into darkness to rush the trichomes? I need to leave and do not have anyone to care for them. Please help me. Will this work?
I also have Short Ryder's and they are turning purple, anyone know about these?

you can shorten the light period to 11 or 10 hours a day to make the plant think its the end of the season... thats the only trick i know

no clue bout your purple strain, some strains have all kinds of crazy colors in them. if its in the stems only it could be pH or nutrient issue.

If you have tris turning purple I think you could harvest ,I'm not positive but I was told if the tris start getting amber and dark harvest,

Sometimes blueberry or other blue/purple plants can have trichomes that start to turn purple

1 - yes, just give them a water and leave to dry in the pot and deffo leave your fan/filter running
2 - know what about Short Ryders? Tried them once and frankly, I wasn't impressed
