New Grow Light

Hello Peeps!

My new light arrived today and I'm just about to switch to 12/12.
The wattage of my new light is slightly greater than what I have now but now I have a dimmer option available.

Would I be hurting my ladies by switching lights on them at this point in time? I'm really excited to install the new light because the footprint area is the proper coverage for my tent. Not to mention the new light imo is much better than what I am using now.

Any thoughts?

More info on both lamps would help. I am inclined to say go for it.

Present light:
TMLAPY E2000 w/Veg & Bloom seperate switches.

New light:
HLG 350R Full Spectrum w/dimmer.

plug it in a grow with it !! give it a 'Full" light in flower and then at week 4 of flower start to decrease light a bit each week untill harvest (with light at 1/2 powder)

So I'm in 2nd week of flowering. And today I just got home from work and seen this...
They are praying like crazy lol
Is this too much? There's no signs of leaf burn.

No, not too much, they are reaching for it. You've got a really good light, I have a slightly larger version, and I love it (so do the plants). They don't seem to be tacoing, but keep an eye out for light burn, right now they look very happy!
