I’d say less than that they’re already mature enough. They could triple in size. It’s up to you though. You can gauge the room better than anyone on here can. For example my last run I trained a plant to the edge of a 5G bucket, I put into flower at like 6” and adjusted the canopy constantly and after stretch and adjustments it still ended up being 38” from soil to tip. Was getting like an inch to inch and half of stretch daily.

I hear ya. So today I will be flipping to 12/12. Going to give them a good water later this afternoon when I switch bulbs. I went to have a look this morning and I have a small concern. Some of the leaves look like this. Any ideas or concerns before I do the flip to 12/12?

Small check in. They all seem to be doing ok. Really thirsty though. Giving them about 2 litres a day each plant. I check every morning and the soil is dry. They are in 4 gallon pots and at roughly 40 days in. Comments, advice, suggestions always welcome .

K. What is best to do? Leave until they start to droop? Then water? I did the knuckle test at the beginning but switched to weight of the pot. Thanks again guys.

I just started to add cal/mag at every water. Only once so far. 1ml per litre of water.

What is best to do?

Keep doing what you are doing Dezi, plants droop before lights out, they droop when they are thirsty, they droop when they are overwatered.
I’m sticking with the magnesium deficiency due to the leaves. Which you only just started giving, they’ll be fine.

Thanks. I switched my timer for 12/12 and will water tomorrow. They don’t weigh much at all right now but I will wait till morning. And from here on in, they will get the Cal/Mag with every watering.

Wow do they really like to grow under 600w HPS bulb and doing ok. I did notice Powder Mildew on one plant so I picked up some Cyclone today and gave them all a really good spray.
They are brushing out nice. I plan to defoliate in about 15 days or so just to have some more room. I have 4 plants in this 4’x4’ tent and I wouldn’t dare want to add any more .

Need some help guys. Not sure what is going on. 3 of the 4 plants seem to be doing ok but 1 is still droopy and not looking so good. 1 just fed this morning as the pots were very light and dry. I don’t know what’s going on. Any ideas or suggestions?

Well it is such a nice day out and I really wanted to see how my 4 plants are doing. I decided to take them outside and do a quick trim and a second treatment of cyclone. It’s sooooo hard to tell the colours under HPS so that is the reason I took them out. Also for a photo shoot to show them off to guys . I think they are doing pretty good. I did take off any older or damaged leaves. This is day 9 in flower at 12/12.

Just starting to shoot pistils ya. Here is what I am using for nutes.

So far only used it for 2 feedings.
Man this is a lot of fun. I am already planning my next grow. Going to build a couple of 2x2 rooms. Going to do one grow in soil again and one DWC. Also already have plans figured out to build a couple of lights as well. If this grow goes good, I can’t to go another round
