It is. I could line it with aluminum foil and put a solid bottom on it. I'm not sure about using it tho at the same time. Plastic doesn't breathe very well. I would definitely be alternating it.
Instead of using an enclosed garment rack think about buying a 4X4 growing tent. More often than not it ends up costing more in money and in time to make something instead of just going and buying the right 'tool' at the start. I figure I spent more rebuilding an existing cabinet than what the 5X5 tent cost me when I finally made that decision.

Then again, sometimes we can learn more after trying to get our home-made project working like what we hoped it would ;).

Look online in the market for a tent. You'll be surprised of the good deals available, even new still in box

Thank you @IcedOutGenetics for providing me with some hard to find Malawi x Northern Lights from @ACE Seeds. They are the biggest of the seeds in my collection! Germinated quickly 👌💚🙏

Well welcome @kaw900r I've got about the same amount of autos as photos growing at the moment. It'll be my 1st harvest when critical 47 gets to the finish.
From what I understand the man who created this strain his name is Neville, the Malawi x Northern Lights is an auto less autoflower. That's as simple as I can put it.
Neville passed away March 2019. He was the man behind the first seed banks as well. 🥂

@OGpapa thank you, yeah I bought another light today, it'll be here this week. I've been scoping out the attic. Gonna clean it up and found a could be ninja-rigged makeshift tent.. lol.. idk I'll mess w the idea. However... There's definitely potential in this room!!

I was thinking about making a 🍄 tent ⛺️ out of one of those things. CL🍀

This song means a lot to me, I wanted to share it with those who have lost them special people in their lives. Those people you wish you could see or hear or hug just that one last time. I know they're watching over us. 🌟💚
Check out a song 🎶 called Rose 🌹 Tattoo by The Dropkick Murphy’s. It’s even got a St.Paddy’s Day vibe to it. CL🍀

The bottom is the 1 Fritter-Quitter ( which I seriously can't seem to find any info on). At 6 weeks she's almost louder than the critical 47!! It's freaking windy outside and I can smell her in the breeze❤️... Guess that's not so bad it could be worse!! Nothing says yuk if I was talking about a real woman I could smell in the breeze.. hahahha .... (Happy sigh) Good morning 420 mag💚
Mexican Haze is starting to get her own aroma as well.

They're both in fabric pots however, I wanted to test some waters.
The 1 Fritter-Quitter is wearing a lovely black fabric 3 gal pot while underneath the fabric is also a 3 gal plastic container. The bottom of the fabric is lined with a 1½ inch layer of perlite, as well as the inside of the bottom of the plastic container .. for roots and prevent root/water problems. So far she likes it, she doesn't ever wilt here n there, she's just a happy prayer.
Whereas little miss Mexi-Haze is wearing a doubled up fabric 3 gal pot, with bright green stitching that glows fabulously in the black light, showing off them splendid cylinder curves. She has moments where I feel like I need to support her immediately and put her in something else. Maybe I should attempt to take off the top fab bag?

I don't know how I feel about the fabric pots. I do and don't like them. Honestly I think I prefer the hard pots. So I've been watching how these 2 are responding in their containers as well as how the autos respond in theirs. Which 2 are in single fab 3 gal. An Critical 47 is in a hard pot of 5 gal.

When I look up one Fritter-Quitter I find a bunch of other fritter names, should I maybe look at those to see how this plants gonna become? She's a big baby! And her branches are long and wide AF
leaves. I just wanted to get an idea of how many cm/ft she could possibly grow.
A heads up kinda thing. It's all good either way. And I will do my best to document this so that anyone in the future can find a review on this strain.

@Wastei I remember what you said about this, lol, I just wanna see where it goes 💚

I went back through my seed inventory for no reason, and found that my One Fritter-Quitter isn't a feminized like I thought. Funny how we can over look little details when we're excited 😊.
Found that it's a hybrid cross of Mike Larry, Modified Banana, and of course Apple Fritter.
I'm good with this. And as far as I can tell it looks female, however there's still a few weeks before the results....
Find out next time on "what's that bud"
😁🙏😉

  • 36 days ≠ 5 weeks and 1 day
Strains: Mexican Haze and 1 Fritter-Quitter

Lights: Vivosun xs1000e

Medium: 50% Fox Farm ocean soil, 50% pro-mix organic soil.

Containers: 3 gal fabric pots
* M.H. - 2 fabric pots doubled up
* 1FQ. - fabric pot lined with 3 gal nursery
pot.

Stage: Vegetation

These girls smell amazing.

Yesterday evening I decided it was time to start the training. Im no grow-pro however I couldn't resist!
Just look at them long legs!!
So I broke out the bondage and started restraining them both leg by lovely leg to the fabric pots. The Mexican Haze only has 2 limbs per node, where the 1 Fritter-Quitter has like 4! I'm probably counting all of it wrong so, I apologize 🙏.
then I also strapped 2 upper limbs to the biggest middle fan leaves, idk if that's a thing, but I made it one if it's not! 😁
Mex. H. Got her upper limbs that are strapped to the leaves topped. Where 1FQ I left the top on the strapped limbs. They're the same age but not the same style.

Stay tuned, I'll be adding an update on our 2 newbie babies that replaced the Pineapple Express and Platinum rootbeer kush, which by the way; They're both doing excellent at their new home. 💚
