Please help: First time grower

Sitting at day 14 from germ, hope they are looking alright. First plants so have no idea really what I'm doing. Just trying to do as much research as possible, the bigger one is an afghani roadkill and the smaller one is a royal highness from royal queen seeds both in soil

You'll find lots of good information for soil growing in Emilya's current journal. Her paper, 'The Proper Way to Water a Potted Plant' is considered a must read for soil growing.

Thanks old salt, I did have a read through the watering paper as I see it's spoken about a lot in plenty of soil journals I've gone through and have been trying to run by it as best as possible. Extremely helpful information in that paper. I will take a look at her current journal right away.

I did post this question in a journal I'm trying to get going but didn't really get an answer,

The plant pictured below is one of 2 that I started a while ago and seems to be growing well. Lights are approx 24 inches from plant and plants are receiving 250 par 18 days from sprouting. Am I on the right track? Are lights too close? Or too far...

Is it too early to start giving some bio grow at 2ml/litre?

Can't help with the lighting question. You can feed her but go a quarter of the recommended dose and see how she does. Doesn't look hungry though.looks good

Good morning, plants are looking rather short, am I doing something wrong or are these girls looking alright?

It looks healthy to me. The plants might grow slower when temperature gets down, or the light not enough, sometimes it is also lies in the genetic. :Namaste:

Good day everybody,

I've run into a slight issue, I was away for a day after feeding these girls for the first time and I've come back to lots of growth but some discolouration.

I fed them the following nutes at all half strength and the babies are all 28 days above soil.

Vermipure
Biobizz bio grow
Biobizz bloom
Seegro plant fertilizer
And vermipure

PH of the water was at 6,5 and soil pH was at 6,8
LED light was hanging at 24 inches and par value is 350

Im not sure what's going on but getting slight tip burn, cotelydons have turned yellow and dying as well as the first set of small leaves.

Any body have any idea on what's Goin on?

Any help would be awesome

Hey man.
I recon just stick to one nute for veg and one for bloom.
So for veg something with more N than P and K.
For flower something with a higher p and k and lower N.
Make things much easier in the long run.
Just a friendly suggestion :)
