I've developed my training method similar, in that I do a lot early on & less later

I train the seedlings very hard, cut away most of the growth, only allow two main stems from the top Y to develop & all new stems come from there

Today I took off the first C benders from the seedling

The close in sections of the stems were getting to the stage they're outgrowing the C bender and being restricted, which is something to avoid

When I transfer these bigger two out I'll repot the smallest one, tie main stems down and then snip the ends of all the shoots to encourage them to bush out

Lights are 4x20w blue LEDs

Really powerful for vegging

10L water tonight (every fourth feed)

Pumping out underneath is important

Under the pot and on top of the tray I've got some 1/2 inch PVC tubing locked into PVC elbows making rectangular loops

These hold the pot up from the tray which means the pots can drain well

Week 5/8

Feed wise I'm running it at 1.5 ec & 6.0pH

I veg from 0.4 - 1.0 ec

Then when flowering I raise the strength by 0.1 every week, peaking at 1.6 in week 6, then dropping down some in week 7 as I half the A&B for that penultimate week

Last & final week just water like most growers

Moved the two bigger seedlings out and repotted smallest one today

Took the white plastic C benders off and tied down the ends with string, having drilled holes in pots

It's the best way to keep em trained low & wide

I cut most of the growth off early on, I guess it's quite a similar approach to mainlining

Maybe it even is mainlining, I'm not sure what the exact definition is lol

At this stage I won't top any of the smaller shoots growing from the main stems, I'll let them grow three or four nodes before I cut them back

The ends of the two main stems I'll let grow out a bit longer before I trim them

Feed wise she's at 0.8 ec ; 6.0 pH

So she's at the end of week 5/8, just beginning 6/8

The buds have started to take on some colour other than pure white

I need to get some string strung up between the side poles and the front two, so that when I put the yo-yos on I can pull the side buds out some, make room in the middle

Before & after - baby plant upstairs has been loving having all the LEDs to herself - she's really reaching out to em

Moved the training strings out a node to bend down the new growth & then put C benders on the four biggest new stems

Ran some string between the side poles, so I could pull some buds to the side, then put a load of yoyos on the main buds to hold them in their own space for the last 2 1/2 weeks
