Skywalker OG Mainline Scrog

And just because… the two clones from top of each plant are coming along nicely too

Current nutrients and amounts in transition to 12/12:

Calmag 5 ml/gallon
Floramicro 3ml/gallon
Floragro 3 ml/gallon
Florabloom 3 ml/gallon

Two plants in rdwc, so three 5 gallon buckets (one for res). Fill w ten gallons of ro water (35 ppm).

This is running at 800 ppm at 5.8 target ph.

In a week to 10 days i will bump nutrients to:

Calmag- same- 5ml/g
Micro- same - 3ml/g
Gro- 1.5 ml/g
Bloom 4.5ml/g

This is essentially 1/3 strength of bottle recommendation. If all is going well, i could eventually get up to half strength but doubt i will go over that. Im guessing this increase to 1/3 will get me to 1000-1200 ppm

Im running a spiderfarm se 5000 led light for this grow. Ive had it at 80% and 36” above scrog net. Manufacturer rec is to have it at 60% and 12-18” in early flower but… i dunno. Mid flower it calls for 80% @ 8-12” and then for late flower, 100% at 6-10”.

These all seem a lil too close for me. Im terrified of burning them up so gonna maintain 80% at 36” for now but would like to hear any suggestions, especially regarding what to do w nutes and such if i intensify/lower light.

Last run (different strain) got a lil burned up w nute lockout after stretch. But i had light closer then also.

I have co2 but am very new to it. If i lower light and increase its intensity would i need to use co2?

Tent temp maxes out at 80*f and water at 78. Both higher than id like but nothing i can do at this time. Water chiller is next. And max temp is only for a few hours occasionally. If i keep ac on74 in house the temp in tent stays at about 77.

Broke one branch on plant b last night while bending it under net. Sadface. Couldnt repair.

Added a second scrog screen. Nearing end of stretch. Switched nutes to 3/2/1 (bloom/micro/gro) by 1/3. Ppm at 875.

Doing well @Bill284 , thanks. How about you? I was just getting on here to tag you and @bluter to ask a question. And anyone else who may know…

As water is consumed from dwc, and evaporation occurs, i am topping off res with RO water. Should i be adding calmag to that addition? I know not to add nutes on top of used solution but unsure about calmag and ive seen a few older fan leaves looking like they have a calmag deficiency.

What do ya think amigos? Add the calmag or not when topping off?

it won't hurt. maybe a half dose and watch. i'd be ready to just plain swap the res out more often and be set to ramp. you're looking great as it is.

Unfortunately I don't run dwc.
But from what I understand if you put calmag in the water before pouring into the res it helps with nutrient uptake.
So I don't think it can hurt.

Great Thread. Sorry I am late to this party. As a fellow hydro grower, I was wondering (close to the top of this page) - What your thoughts were or what happened here? Just trying to be a little more active. Thank You !

Hmmmm… not sure. A complete guess would be possibly water level too high and that was in water when it was younger. There are some very knowledgeable people on here that will chime in im sure. Stay tuned. Happy growing!
