Sour Lowryder 2 Auto In 8 Gallons Of Soil

I purchased it. A couple 16oz bottles at 100 ppm of colloidal. It wasn't very pricey either

I am pretty much using the method I found in one of @beez0404 completed journals. I brush it on daily quite liberally. It is usually recommended to pick a branch and start applying it a week or two before starting flower, but with an auto you don't have as much time, so I started as soon as one of the branches was large enough to apply it to without getting it on the entire plant.

Thanks for the info. I did a colloidal silver search and found a few different threads. Definitely will look into doing this experiment. I just need to figure out which plants I want to do this with. I would like to get a couple clones off my clones knowing they are female. Last thing I would want is to make pollen on one of my main plants and miss some pollen sacs and end up pollinating my entire grow.

If it is a liquid solution, does it drop down on other branches? I know I need to do more research. Just curious about how I would approach this for my situation.

Also, why are some breeders and growers against feminizing?

Found a thread of what looks a good and thorough process. It is an old thread though and I'm sure processes have improved since then. If you get a chance to check it out, give it a look. I would be curious what you may do differently compared to this.
How to Use Colloidal Silver to Produce Feminized Seeds

Popped up today with its helmet on. A quick surgery to pop it off and it is on it's way.

Day three from seed

37 days from seed. She has stopped getting so busy and started stretching quite a bit. Unfortunately the pollen sacs I have seen have fallen off and I am not seeing any others. I think I see why this is not available in feminized. She seems hard to turn. But I will keep at the colloidal until harvest, ya never know.

Day 7 from seed on #2.

Day 44 from seed and day 14 from seed. No way she is done at 6 weeks, but starting to fill out a bit. I am guessing at least 2 more weeks. Most likely more.

The other one is a bit behind where the first one was at this time, but the soil is a bit different and a bit more compact so that is likely the reason. It got its first light feeding yesterday.

Thanks!

Honestly, i cant say for sure if the slower growth is the pot size or not since the soil I am using is a bit more dense in the 5 gallon one than it was in the 8 gallon. But I do have 7 more of these seeds and since I am having trouble getting it to turn and grow pollen, I may run them through again to make sure and make some regular seeds. Or if the new one is male, just save some pollen.

I also have noticed a bit of nute burn on the tips so will be backing off a bit, but at the same time several leaves are starting to yellow. I think the yellowing may be normal on it at this point though.

The new one is starting to show some preflowers and looks like it is going to be a boy.

Looks like I may be able to grab some pollen and then will likely pollinate a branch and let that branch plus the branch I am trying to reverse go and see how long the original one will go.

Day 52 and 22

The buds are Starting to fatten up a little bit and the calyxes are starting to turn a nice deep purple.

The second one is definitely a male. I will let it go until I get a good amount of pollen from him then give him the axe.

I also need to decide if I want to cross this with anything else I have going right now. Other autos I have are LSD-25 from FastBuds, LSD from Dr. Seeds, CrystalMeth from fastbuds, and my DieselxBlackRose cross. What would you cross? I am not a huge fan of a bunch of regular seeds, but may be fun to share the wealth.

Day 56 and 26 from seed.

Looks like it will go at least 9 weeks. Maybe longer. It is just starting to frost up and there are not very many amber or cloudy trichs. She is also almost 2 feet wide right now.

The males flowers are starting to get a little purple and looks like it may drop some pollen within a week or so. Hopefully I can get her to live long enough to get good seeds from a few branches I pollinate.

Day 60 and Day 30

Some of the males flowers opened up today, so I collected some in a bag then shoved a whole lower cola in the bag, closed it up, then shook it around. Here is hoping for the best. I will spend the next few days collecting what opens then put some rice in the bag and store it away. Is the freezer the best place?

Also, she looks to be still mostly clear with a few amber and cloudy, so is going to go to at least 10 weeks from seed. I will pull a small lower bud this Thursday when she is exactly 9 weeks and at least check it out.

Then to decide what to cross him to .....

Day 65 and 35

I chopped the male. He was starting to drop pollen everywhere and I didn't want to take the chance of the whole thing getting seeds all over it.

Trichs still look mostly clear so going to let her go to 10 weeks. Maybe more.
