Tea for watering smells funky after a few days

So, I made a cocktail of kelp and fish concentrates, all in an outdoor 15 gallon container. I only have two plants so the container lasts like 5 days for watering, but come day three, the bucket smells like sewer CRAP! Is it healthy to water the plants if the water gets a funky smell???? It really stinks

no... throw it out. Make your nutrient solutions up the day you are going to apply them. It does not work very well to make up a mix to use days later because the nutrients can drop out of the solution and become worthless, and in your case, the bad bacteria can take over and turn things funky.

the tea I make I airrate for 48 hr then refrigerate up to a week but yes toss it if it smells bad
