The Covid-19 Garden

Going to have some stuffed peppers today.
Got lots of microgreens, sunflower, pea shoots, broccoli, radish, mustard, arugula.
3 kinds of Basil, Kale, Bell peppers, cucumbers, snow peas and red carrots.
Plus assorted herbs and of course a nice Jack Herer coming along very well.

Looks like the coconut water and silica are doing their job, strong thick trunk and branches and tight nodes.

Made a nice salad today out of the microgreens and cucumber.

Microgreen salad, Sunflower, Broccoli, Kale, Kohlrabi, Arugula, Red Cabbage & Southern Giant Mustard, Hemp seeds, Cucumber, Lemon and Sweet Basil, sesame seeds and peanuts. With a Olive oil, Balsamic vinegar and dijon mustard and Zataar dressing.
Was quite tasty, and probably the most nutritious thing I've eaten in a year.

Got my 50 pounds of the finest bread flour in today.
Transferred it all into extra thick 4 mil polyethylene freezer bags in 1 gallon size which holds 5# of flour perfectly.
I will store these in my freezer for 4 days to kill any possibility of weevils then pull out of the freezer and let them come back to room temperature and then put those into airtight 5 gallon buckets with Gamma lids.
Then pull out a 5# bag as needed to put into an airtight container in the pantry.
Should be enough flour for all the rolls, buns, bagels and french bread my wife and I can eat for at least 9 months.

Iam actually eating better under quarantine and saving money.

I think Bell Peppers must like used cannabis soil in a mini Hügelkultur pot.

I stuffed the bottom half of this pot with wood and leaves dusted with a little mycorrhizae and Bokashi and filled top half with used LOS.

Plant is 8 feet 5" tall have already harvested 18 peppers and today counted at least 36 more that set at least the size of my fingernail.
Definitely saving some seeds from this one.
