Twisted's First Grow Journal

Do you ever top your plants
Absolutely, especially if I'm creating a girl with a long veg cycle.
My outdoor girls in particular
I top and train them big and wide.
If it's just a regular run in the flower room I top occasionally.
I find it a good tool for the right purpose.
If you have limited height it's handy. :thumb:

So the last time I watered was Sunday and that wasn’t that much water it was dry up until my third knuckle. I defoliated a little and watered until it came out the bottom. And I watered with ph’d water and it was 6.5 to 6.2. I’m hoping they are looking good I’m worried about the spotting. So what do y’all think?

Hi. I started growing 2 autos about 2 weeks before you (RWS auto). I haven't read this in much detail, because I'm using different stuff. As a general rule less is more with nutes. This is my first auto grow, and I started with an 1/8th of what a photo plant would take working my way up to half for the rest of my grow. I'd say you are starting the transition to bloom. In a week or so it will be obvious. They look good.

A little plant porn tonight. Also I’m not really low stress training much all I’m doin is taking the fan leaves and tucking them under the other branches. I feel like for my first grow these girls are looking fat and healthy. Another thing is these white hairs are starting to come in on multiple branches. That’s what I want correct?

So I’m starting to get a little yellowing on the tips of some leafs. I looked it up and it said ph imbalance I’ve done two ph’d waters. Should I feed them some nutes and cal mag for an aggressive feed? Because from some reading I’ve done they should be close to be flipping to flower? I may be wrong. I’m also using general hydroponics nutes

In soil I'd mix the gh according to the schedule and feed next time, then water then feed then water.
Full strength nutrients according to the schedule every other time. Feed/water/feed/water/feed/water...
If you set your ph it should be 6.3.
Water to run off every time.
Hope that helps.
Take care.

Pics help. If it's the very edges, it may well be nute burn. That isn't a bad thing necessarily. It tells you that the nutes are being delivered. As long as it's sparse, it doesn't matter. The plant has OD'd, if your leaves are yellowed, drying out, and clawing.

Ok so update and photo dump I defoliated and low stress trained and also added about a gallon and a half of nutes today I left for like two hours and came back to the curving already happening I’m in love with growing lol the excitement I get when I see new progress.

Went to Walmart and bought a cheap air pump with aqua stone. Now what exactly does this do for me again or do for my water

I didn't recommend it so I can't speak for who ever did. :Namaste:
My guess would be.
Aerating the water you feed your girls can add oxygen needed in the root zone.
It effects the nutrients somewhat, depending on brand and length of running time.
I tried it and found it increased the rate the salts fell out of the nutrients I was using at the time.
So I just turned it on when I was watering.
If that's your purpose?
Otherwise nvm.

Everything is looking good. I'm going to sit in and watch this one. We have similar equipment but I'm jealous of your tent size lol I wish I had the room. I love my Aerolight Wing.

Also what's this cable management you speak of? 😂
The more room we have the more stuff we add.
Any pot grower knows that feeling but we can’t help ourselves.
As long as the garden is happy. ;)
