What am I doing wrong?

Hello people, this is my first post and first thread as a new grower.
I'm happy to meet you all.
So I'm on my first grow, a lot of things go sideways but Im learning all the way and fixing all the issues as I progress.
But I have a problem with two of my girls which Im not sure what to do..
New leaves are to small and thin. Also the color seems a bit pale.
Im using coco peat, and I added biobizz soil mix on top of it for the extra secondary minerals.
I use GH Flora Trio nutrients with BioBizz CalMag supplement.
My PH water is at 6.0. I water every 4-5 days cause the medium needs a lot of time to get dry.
I try not to overwater my plants.
I flushed my plants 2 days ago with 6.0 ph water just to be sure I have not overfed them.

Good evening and welcome to 420Magazine my friend :welcome:
Coco requires a couple things to grow properly.
You have to feed coco every day full strength nutrients at 5.8 ph until you get run off.
Your nutrients require calmag in the plain water first, then nutrients in order recommended by the schedule, lastly set ph to exactly 5.8.
Keep your coco moist at all times but never any plain water.
Follow these instructions you will have healthy plants. :Namaste:

Edit : don't add any more soil.

5.8 ph all day long my friend. :Namaste:
Feed full strength every day to run off.
As recommended by the schedule.
Calmag- micro - grow- bloom , set ph feed to runoff.

Ok Guys thanks a lot for your fast response.
I will do what you said word by word, but I feel like feeding everyday nutrients seems like a lot.
When I did water every day green algae formed on top of the medium, it doesn't sound like a good idea.

The layer of soil on top of coco - how deep is it?
Soil holds more water for longer, that's why it seems like over-watering + algae

2 inches, the algae formed when I had only coco peat.
I added the soil 2 days ago, I thought it would give some secondary nutrients my plant needs.
Anyway i forgot to mention that when I flushed my plants with PH water 6.0, I measured the run off and it indicated ph 7.0. So I guess PH is the problem here.

Keep a fan blowing on the top of your pots.
It'll keep them in good shape. :thumb:

No, you can't rinse pH out of buffered medium, it becomes intrinsic
Only residual salts can be rinsed out
pH 6.0-6.8 is the range on the bag, which is the organic range so aim for pH 6.3-6.5 nutes maybe?

It's a gully

I would fill the bottom of the pots properly with perlite & coco.
Mound up the center so it drains and you won't have any issues.
Otherwise roll the edges down and take off the soil add coco & perlite so it's higher in the canter.
Most coco will be fine with a slight breeze.
As long as you fill the pot and raise the center.
