What would be the minimum number of plants You would grow in a 4x8x72 grow tent with 4-600 watt HPS lights and would you scrog the plants?

2400w of hps is alot of heat
If its a new setup i would try using 2 600's first and 2 plants under each gives you alot of room to work, train and learn with your setup

I meant to say I have 2-600 Watt--Total of 1200 watts. Not 4 600 watt- 2400 watt

Eight, if you plan on growing them out to maturity. In my experience, each plant should have a 2' x 2' square to spread her wings. If you LST, you will need more horizontal space per plant. Also, in my experience, you can expect trained plants to stay under 4' tall, so you can add an upper shelf for starts and juveniles, or just storing stuff.
The second shelf should be adjustable, in case you want to go double-decker with LST plants, keeping them low and wide. Two 36" chambers.

All you need is one 600 watt light on a 6 foot light mover..... it will act as the same as 3 or 4
