Why did these two plants grow so differently under the same conditions?

These plants were raised right next to each other, same light, soil, water, etc. Why is one spreading outwards while the other is not and staying close to the main stem?

Genetic variance. No 2 seeds are the same.

Because plants are not twins or identical, even if they came from 1 seed pack or were all pulled from the same bud.... there are unique individuals with different genetics. One could be sativa leaner the next could have indica traits and so on.

I assume they are the same strain? I have the same thing going on in my tent right now. They are just showing different traits from there lineage.

Looks like two different varieties to me, or definitely different phenotypes within the same strain.

Yeah they are the same strain both seeds were found in an ounce of bud
