Woohooo finally made it back to the house to my lovely ladies. They looking just about ready maybe a week or so left. Everyone else seems to be doing fine as well.

Im good mr.bill just got in yesterday morning just got called to go back to work tonight. If i wouldnt have taken this promotion to lead project manager i wouldnt be taking these jobs back to back the way i been doing. With all these new irs agents im going to have to slow down on taking all these jobs or ill end up in another tax bracket which im trying to avoid. Quick question i they said put your plants under 48hrs of darkness before chopping but i have some buds thats closer to harvest than others and i was curious as to how would i go about harvesting whats ready without the dark period

Some like to go dark 48-72 hrs some prefer to chop.

I have heard going dark you lose terp profile, but have the opportunity to gain more thc.

So are you going for bang or flavor?

Just pull them out from under the led.
Any dim room.
Led's degrade tric's, so taking away from the led for 36-48 hrs pre chop let's them swell for you.
Max size for harvest..

Should i just wait until they are all ready instead of harvesting some of the ripe ones now and the rest when theyre finished. Some are a good bit closer than others

I don't see any ready yet though.
Never harvest white pistils.
When they are done flowering and building for you their white pistils turn red and crinkle in.
She will stop drinking too.
When all the white pistils are gone then I check tric's.
Clear/cloudy energetic feeling.
Cloudy/amber relaxed feeling.
Let them finish swelling.

Thanks mr.bill. Let me make sure im understanding correctly. So what you are saying is that as long as they have any white pistils showing they still growing? And pretty much you do not want to see any white pistil on the flower before harvesting period. So when all the white pistils turn check their trichs? Thanks for the help from all you guys and gal you know who you are. I appreciate they would have been in much worst shape without that help. I wish i could send all you guys who shared their knowledge a fat tater to try out. Also can i harvest some of the flowers when the trichs are cloudy and let some sit a little longer until i see more amber color? That way i have some get up and do something or some sit down on the couch looking stupid.

Staggerd harvest is common.
I prefer to let the whole plant mature.
But there is nothing wrong with taking a bud you think is ready.
But let them finish swelling first.
Lot's of light and food right till the end.

Some parts of the plant are a little further along than others. I should have a good mix of some morning weed and some evening weed by the time its all said and done. Hopeful thinking anyways

Hows it going old timer? I have another quick question..imagine that . im going to be pressing all of the lower buds into rosin and im wondering if i have to wait until it has dried and cured some or can i press it while its still fresh and green?

Hey Slim.
Unfortunately no, you have to dry it and cure it.
If you do it fresh you just get juice sorry.
Like water , it'll make a mess.

Your auto has white pistils still , it needs time.
But she has no leaves left that's going to reduce her final size quite a bit.
I don't remove leaves at all, period.
She needs them for energy.
Your droopy girl looks over watered, how often are you watering her?
If your away possibly under?
What is the temp and rh, could be causing problems.
Lots of heat issues down there.
It's freezing here again, snow soon by the feel of the weather.

Probably under-watered if i had to guess. Every time i get to them they are dry as a bone. And my buddy freaking cut the leaves off like a dick. I stopped him before he got to the entire plant. Im splitting it down the middle w him so thats his half of the plant since he decided to do that. Shes getting close very few white pistils left. Im sure by the time i get in this go round it should be ready. Ill be out 14 days that will put it at almost 11 weeks in flower. The room is at 70f and humidity is around 45-50

70 and 50 are great.
So underwatered.
A wetting agent may be helpful.
If it's dry water just shoots through her.
Never really soaking the soil with roots.
Slow Slow at first.
May take a couple tries to get it wet.

I’ll definitely give that a try. Im glad i dont have any outdoors man its been raining its ass off every day down here. Waiting on the bird now but its pouring down. They will fly above the rain but no go when its lightning. Im going to be pissed if they send us home and want to try again in the morning. Thats a 6hr round trip back to my house. You talking about snow its freaking august its still 100+ Mid day over here. Im not built for the snow you should see these morons around here on the road when you get a little snow. Lol
