1st Ever Grow, 8 Ball Kush

Hiya BIll...
ya the plants look perky so there's that. Does it look like the progression stopped? The damaged leaves will never recover of course.
The PC's look great btw :thumb:
Hiya MrS.
Yes I'm certain the progression has stopped.
So long as they have enough solar panels to get me to some sort of harvest I'm cool with that.
Plenty of time for me to try and grow nice looking plants in the future.

Hi everyone.
Hope everyone is having a great day.

Bloom day 39

I've not even looked at my plants since watering 3 days ago, as you could guess I was a little worried as to what state I would find them in.

Well opening up the tent and finding 3 ladies looking the happiest I've seen them for a while was a nice feeling.

They were very dry, I'm at a point where I maybe need to water every 2 days.

I've upped the feeding a little more.
They took 13 litres of water.
3ml biogrow
3ml biobloom
1ml topmax
1ml bioheaven
1.5ml calmag
Ph6

I even took them out of the tent for a few pics as I'm amazed at how frosty they are looking.
I'm not sure I'm going to end up with huge buds but I suspect they still have over 3 weeks to go.

Had a light malfunction causing near disaster with my 2 plants on my second grow, the light lowered itself over night and ended up touching the plants:thedoubletake: they will live but they don't like me much at the moment.

Well done Bill! They will fatten up quite a bit still and they look nice and frosty too! You're gonna be a happy harvester when it's time!
Thanks MrS
I'll be happy with whatever they give me in the end.
I wouldn't have gotten this far without help from you guys.
I'm doing the healthy detox January thing so I'll be more than ready to sample some buds come harvest time :yummy:

Haha my buds are looking pretty good but the rest of the plants look like crap.
I've had some great help and advice along the way.
I'm pretty sure yours will be much more impressive when the get to this stage.
I don't think you will have any problems feeding the MC.
Some of the results member on here are getting are fantastic.

Bloom day 42

I've been venting out my roof but today I could smell weed on my driveway so I had a trip to the grow shop for a filter.
Got a deal on a fan and filter kit so I figured I could use my old inline fan as a back up.
Also bought myself some Rh packs for the curing.
Thought I would give them a try.

This new fan seems to shift tons more air and I can no longer smell weed outside.

Watered today
14 litres
2.5ml biogrow
3ml biobloom
1ml topmax
1ml bioheaven
1.5ml calmag
Ph6.1

Everything seems to be ticking along nicely in my garden now.

Looks great Bill! If you're worried about that tacoing and the tips slightly turning up it's most likely the lights too low. If she begins to foxtail lift the lights up some.
Nice job brutha!
Thanks MrS
I have let them grow up to the light a bit and it's only 10" above now, I'll probably lift it back to 12" just to be safe as it's a pretty powerful light.

Been in to raise my lights a couple of inches today and overnight I have pistles turning brown.
They are starting to look like proper buds :snowboating:
Funnily enough my smallest of the 3 that has suffered from the worst deficiencies has definitely got the biggest heaviest looking buds of the 3 plants.
The biggest cola is actually from one of the nodes I nearly broke clean off whilst training in veg.
This plant has always looked a little different to the other 2.
I now understand why people take clones as even from the same strain some plants are just better.

Damn man. Just read through your journal quickly. Awesome first grow! I’m also just working on my first grow and had a lot of issues also but the people around here are great and always willing to offer the most help they can. Your plants turned out looking pretty damn good. Looks like you’ll have a good harvest, congrats! :passitleft:
Thanks buddy.
It's definitely been eventful.
I honestly didn't have a clue about growing and have had some fantastic help from members on here.
I feel I've learned a lot and want to learn more.
I feel like I'm on the home straight with these plants now and despite all the issues they are going to give me some nice tasty buds

I was in the same boat as you. Took up smoking again recently and was appalled with the prices of the dispensaries so bought my own setup to grow lol. Browsed this site a lot looking at everyone’s grows but was hesitant to make my own post because you see on some sites people can be pretty ruthless to new oblivious growers but I noticed pretty much everyone around here was very willing to help. It’s a great place and I’m happy I joined. Happy growing man, I’ll keep watching your progress/admiring your frosty buds :Rasta:

Bloom day 45

Everyone in the garden were happy to see me today.

I watered just after lights on so only 61 hours since the last watering and they were pretty dry.
My next watering is going to be done sooner as I feel they are drinking more at the moment.

From the reading of other grows of this strain most seem to harvest around day 60 so I'm thinking around 2 weeks to go.

I've started to slowly reduce the nitrogen in the feed so have gone with
2ml biogrow
4ml biobloom
4ml topmax
1ml bioheaven
1.5ml calmag
pH 6.1
Im planning to feed right up until I hack them to death.

Absolutely majestic. First adjective that popped into my brain.
Haha majestic, I like it :laughtwo:
I'm getting a tad impatient now, not smoked any weed yet this year so really looking forward to trying some I've grown myself.
Hope things are still solubrius in your garden :meditate:

Damnnn no bud that's tough:/ i have some but still paying for it. Tired of paying for it. Not for long. I know it's hard having these beauties and still I gotta buy it:/ must be even worse for you! Well think of it like this you'll most likely never pay for or run out again haha.

Yes my garden is doing well no calcium spots on new growth and it doesn't seem to be getting worse. Still no burnt tips from the mc. Going to increase the dose a little more this Sunday probably. I'd like a little tip burn. As of now I water, water, feed and that usually takes a week, so once a week feed schedule. They smell great:)
