1st Time Auto Topped LED Grow

:cheer: update :cheer:

Come on in, have a hit :passitleft:

Currently on day 42 of flower. Crop king calls for 47 on their packaging. To me they look pretty close. I bought a little microscope to see the if the resin glands have turned cloudy but the thing is a pain in the A$$ to use.

I'm going to have another crack at the microscope later. I got frustrated. Every time I got a clear focused image I immediately lost it from the plant moving or something I did. Very annoying.

At this point I'm just trying to determine when to harvest. I can tell I'm close but how close is the question. From the reading I have done and others experiences on the forums I can see all the tell tale signs but I can still see some white pistils here and there. Are they all supposed to turn orange b4 harvest? Should I wait? I'm so excited but I don't want to rush it. Any insight on this would be very appreciated.

I started germinating a seed for my next round. I only had one blue diesel seed so I'm going to try a single plant next time around. Fingers crossed :thumb:

Thanks for all the help everyone!

Cheers.
I know what you mean finishing takes forever...I'm first time grower feels like it's taking forever last 2 weeks but I just keep telling myself patience.

Had the ladies out for a feeding last night. Completely forgot to take some pictures so I had to hold of till this afternoon. They are looking more frosty by the day. The canopy hasn't changed much on either so I just took some bud shots. I think I'm getting a little better with the camera but forgive me as the focus still isn't top k notch.

I took 2 shots of both plants. Looking great!

And now introducing the new addition to the family. I put a blue diesel down to germinate and the tap root is out. It was put into soil Thursday and popped thru the soil today early morning.

The adventure begins again :thumb:

Cheers everyone, Smoke green and prosper!

How's the little one, Is she warm enough under that light? Only a couple more weeks till your sampling some homegrown :thumb: Did you flush?

KiG :green_heart:cheers

She seems to be very happy and healthy. I think she is warm enough. First set of leaves have fully come through. So far so good :thumb:

Can't wait for the sampling to begin :volcano-smiley: I started the flush, but have been told by a certain somebody :ciao:, I didn't use enough water. I used just under 2 liters but that is the same as always. The next flush will be tomorrow or Sunday and will use much more water. Then we will clip hopefully.

Yeah I flushed 3 flushes over 6 days I harvest top 4 nodes (4 main colas) yesterday got about 350 wet I still have bottom half to go I'm going to give her a few days to ripen up. Not perfect but I'm learning.

Wanted to post some more bud shots up because they are making my mouth water and are nice and firm. Getting a bit better with my phone camera so hopefully you all will find they have better focus. Over the past week the buds have started turning purplish in places. Needless to say I can't wait. Second flush will most likely be later tonight. Probably use 5-6 liters per plant this time around. Hope everyone likes the shots as much as I.

Cheers

Looking good brother Ched :high-five: the "purpling" is from cold nights and also a lack of nutrients. It's all good:thumb: the harder she fights to stay alive the more trichomes she'll produce. Flush again with a more water and she'll be ready by weeks end. How are the trichomes amber to cloudy ratio?
Seedling looks nice and comfy I'm her recycling bin. Godspeed little one...

KiG :green_heart:cheers

Still not great at using the microscope yet but I'm seeing some amber in there. Gave them another flush yesturday. Planning on chopping them on Wednesday. Wish I could take a could pic like smoke garden

I'm late to the party as its just about over lol but great job and congrats

Welcome Jay233, thanks for stopping by. Yes the northern lights are soon to be finished but no worries. A new adventure is now beginning with the little baby in the recycle bin. Just doing one this time around to try and maximize my grow area. We'll soon c how it goes.
