Week 6 day 6, plants are starting to really mature up now however all are throwing out new pistils constantly, I feel like I could let them flower forever if I wanted to let them keep going and keep bulking up

It definitely has its ups and downs to a slightly larger room, when it’s only a few plants I love the mobility in the room, but when it’s packed wall to wall, the dimensions make it a little difficult to water everybody without shuffling plants around left and right, I’ve tried to find a happy medium but there doesn’t appear to be one Once the clones get up-potted today they’ll be getting switched to flower and the cramp session will begin again, plant number 2 got the chop last night in preparation of the babies coming in from veg, and the stash was starting to run low

This will be the last time everyone sees the babies in veg, everyone is getting up-potted to 3 gallon nursery pots and switched into flower, it’s going to get cramped up in that 5’x6’!!

Alrighty boys and girls, we have a couple beautiful buds from this lovely @Weed Seeds Express Girl Scout Cookie plant grown with the help of @GeoFlora Nutrients dry nutrient feed. Plant number 2 has been chopped, mostly dried, and partially starting cure. Some has been tested and the smoke is amazing as remembered from the old days when it was originally introduced, the taste is very strong from the first hit right on thru until it’s gone, however, the smoke is very smooth. Connoisseurs, patients, and hobbyists alike will all enjoy her aroma and creeper high, it comes on soft but hits strong and lasts for a couple hours easily, and this comes from a long time dedicated smoker with a very high tolerance. The biggest thank you goes to @420 for orchestrating this whole sponsored grow to happen, it has been a blessing and truly awesome to be able to participate in a comparison grow on such a diverse setting of growers, I will continue to post updates as the other plants finish off and the clones go thru their cycle. I can only hope to partake if another event like this happens in the community, and as always, I’m always chasing that next pheno, soo the other pack of seeds may most likely get planted soon!!

Well, today the first plant was dry enough that I feel comfortable tossing it into a jar for a day to start my cure process, tomorrow the jar will most likely need to be dumped back out for a little further air drying, but it shouldn’t need any more than a day before going back into the jar for good weather permitting as the room I dry in is greatly effected by outdoor RH. From there it will be the standard burp process. I have found this to be a method that discourages bud rot and produces a very unique taste when smoking, no matter what the strain. I’m a tiny bit discouraged by the weight of plant number 2, however there are multiple factors to be considered, I have already been smoking from this plant for a couple days now at easily an eighth a day, and there was also a small handful that was tossed into the trim for some butter, soo realistic numbers should be closer to 2 ounces, not too shabby for being flowered under some 6+ year old viparspectra lights that need to be replaced before too long

Thanks brotha, is a nice smoke for sure. Starting to get the really stony high after a partial cure now and the aromas are been tossed out like crazy now, definitely a hard hitter and made me actually question my tolerance level yesterday, after 2 bowls I basically started falling asleep in my chair. Yeehaa lol

Week 7 day 7 on the big ladies, to date this is the longest I’ve allowed plants to flower but boy ohh boy am I glad I did, the colors that have started to come out of the 3 remaining plants are absolutely amazing as you’ll see in the close up on plant 4, plants 3 and 4 are starting to get chopped tonight to make room for incoming babies as pictured starting to come into the room.. Things are always on a move here in the torture chamber and there’s a surprise coming right up!

The remaining clones from plant 3 that were in the cloner from one of the previous posts nearly 2 weeks ago, finally got potted, but not in soil!! It’s been time to drag out some of my old gear and I decided to toss these 2 ladies into DWC, setup in 5 gal buckets with 2 big round air stones in each hooked to the smaller of my 2 commercial air pumps using up 4 of the 6 ports, they’re getting plenty of oxygenated air to say the least!

Ok, tiny bit of a delay on an update soo there’s going to be a few pictures to get everyone up to speed.. plant #3 has not been chopped yet and has been sitting in the corner of the room in the dark since last update, she’s gotten a nice dark color to her and is more than ready for a chop. Plant #1 has been pulled from the room tonight and will likely be cut the same time I do plant 3, plant 1 doesn’t look the greatest at first site due to being allowed to dry out in the flower room however behind the yellow leaves she’s beautiful as can be with very noticeable amber trichomes. Plant 3 is pictured with the 420 mag sticker behind it, plant 1 is the second finished plant pictured.

The picture with 3 clones, and now mother plants, side by side from RIGHT to LEFT, goes plant 1,2,4. The plants in the hydro buckets are both plant 3, the one on the left will most likely become mum for that plant, but look at the growth difference between soil and hydro, all these plants as well as the ones in the flower tent that will be in the following post, were all cut and rooted on the same timeframe, goes to show the benefit of staying in water, why’d I wait sooooo long to come back to hydro?!? Lol..

And here we have everyone that’s been cloned and is currently flowering, the first picture is a general shot of the room, picture 2 is 6 clones of plant 1, the 3rd picture is 6 of plant 2, picture 4 is 2 plants from plant 2, and the final picture is 3 plants from plant 4, after this run of clones I will make my determination of which plants will be kept for mother’s, now that I’ll know how each pheno yields, tastes and clones, I can narrow it down to an indoor plant for year round growing and which I’ll want for the greenhouse next spring. I feel plants 3 and 4 are going to be the winners, we shall see come final weights and taste tests.
