5150's Backyard 2011 - PAC. NW.

Time for some bud shots.

Forrest fires near by so getting lots of ash falling on my plants. Had the leaf blower out yesterday. Not really that bad today. But thats what you see on the leafs in spots. The fires are far away but the wind most have carried ash about 50 miles or so.

Wow...they all look amazing! I can't get over the height of the WW :welldone:

I really like the looks of the American Dream. Nice and bushy with lots of large colas, and the canopy seems to be fairly even. Looks like a great strain for indoor as well.

Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming man! I'm living my outdoor growing dreams vicariously through you :thumb:

Thanks man, Here is another updae.

Okay the rain is on the way so I started my cover. My work was tossing out these plastic curtians things that hang in warehouse doors. I got about 75 of them. I am using these for I need a few doors to get to my plants. With my patio roof I am cramped on the front side of the cover some. This is why you see two doors. The back side of the cover will be open for the trees stop all the rain and I like the air flow. But I needed doors on the front side. They are thick heavy plastic rubber type. I will make a loop on the bottom of them and slide a board thru for to stop from flapping in the wind. The shorter door will not matter for the door is far from the plants. Also my dogs need to get thru as well.

Anyway here is the start of my project and some bud shots.

Enjoy.

Also from my works dumpster. These little metal clamps things work great to hold wood to metal poles. A guy could use plumber metal strips as well. (not sure what they call them) This method locks the wood soild. In the past I drilled holes on each side of the pole and used bailing wire. This was is much better and faster.

This update shows how I will get around that little plant. Also how low the plastic will go on the side. Also used some slates to hold the door rubber. The tape is the hinge. LOL

My dog will dig that hole and lay in it all day when it is hot. He never was a digger until I grow MJ plants or veggie garden. It's like he is messing with me.

Yah the only view they have is roof tops. Then they see my yard. Will the cover went up today. So the show will be a little harder to watch. LOL

I got my cover on today. It's just laying on now. I still have to skin it tight. But this will give you an idea how it wll look.

This is 20x65 sheet of plastic once I cut it off th 20x100 roll. The boards on the one roof will be taken down. They make it worse for more spots to puddle. On the front side of the cover it will go down low to the ground. The other side will be open for no rain comes thru the trees. This way it not locked in air with good airflow but 100% dry.

Some pics. Smells good under the cover.

Update. The other American Dream will come down this week. It's got me off gaurd at 49days. Going to flush it real good this week. I gave the other AD from the empty pot to my bro for watching the front of my house untill harvest is over. The AD finished to half amber in 49 days flower time.

Here is how I covered that plant sticking out the side of the carport.

Impressive setup and plants...a dream garden!

Do you have any heat issues next to the plastic? I'm using clear corrugated sheets and get some awful heat even with fans 1-4" from the surface.

Which one of the plants is your favorite and why? Right now I'm looking to obtain some C99. Where did you get yours?

right now the C-99 is my fav. Fast and no mold. The AK is the killer looking though. Slight mold though. At this point is all about mold. I would say C-99.

The AK is the best looking smoke though. Fat fat buds.

New update. Been about a week so getting much fatter now. Some mold spots here and there but nothing bad if I catch it early. The american dream had mold attack all the main colas on both plants. I gave one to my bro and harvested the tops off the other. Both SD's are showing spotty dry mold as well. The only strains I have right now that has not showed any mold is the C-99and the Dogshit. The C-99 is almost done as well. (closeup below)

3rd year in a row that have had little yellow leafs from the plants in the ground.
