Beginner amateur grower

Hello! First of all, thank you for being a new member. I'm an absolute beginner. I started building a box from a 50x50x140 freezer. I would like to micro-grow in this. I am very interested in growing discreetly in a small place. I would be interested in the scrog technique. As far as I know, you can get more out of the flower in such a small space. If anyone is interested, I can show you how the project is doing with a few pictures. I also have quite a few questions, I would need some advice. If there were more experienced colleagues who could talk about the topic, I would be very grateful. Until then, thank you for being here again.

Thanks for the reply and the information. I was wrong then. The scrog technique requires a wide space. Should I use the Lst technique? I don't want to profit from the yield, but I want to get the most out of the flower. I want to grow it in the ground. My actual space is 40x40x100. I can place the lamp 100 cm high. This is the maximum. I am attaching a few pictures of how the box is in case you have any comments or useful advice. I still have to solve the air circulation. And a small humidifier. I would like to heat it with a pipe or a carpet. My light is a viparspectra p600. I welcome any useful advice or criticism. Thanks bro

Are you going to grow photoperiod or autos?
Either way it will fill that space pretty quickly so just topping an auto in there would be my plan
Topping at node 3 or 4 should give you 6-8 main colas

Choose your strain wisely; you want a fast, short, mostly Indica hybrid I would suggest
Secondly, the bigger the pot the bigger the plant; you can do well in just 3L or 5L pots - that will help to restrict the plant to 50-60cm height
However, I have known people use a tomato grow bag to save the height of the pot itself

When the plant is a few weeks old and has 3-4 pairs of leaves, pinch out the tip between the top pair of leaves
Two new tips will grow from there, and at the same time the side branches will grow up to the same height as the top
That makes all the flowering branches approximately the same height so they will all grow big buds instead of just the central top bud

I grow in a cabinet so have similar issues to what you face. For training, I'm partial to quadlining (link in my sig). For that, it's one topping and then LST to the pot edges and then vertical from there. I grow photo periods so I flip when the height of the plant is about 1/3 to 1/2 the available height in the flower space which for me is quite soon given my small space.

So, you can make it work for sure, but just have to be a bit creative to get there. With autos, you want to make sure they get enough light which generally means running the lights in flower for more than the 12 hours us photo period growers do.

Welcome to 420Mag! Your grow box looks great, good job! If it was my grow box I'd just grow 1 plant at a time, topping is your choice, although I'd just let it grow naturally without topping, Happy growing!
