Ok, yes the lights will grow lower plants ok. Try growing them 5 footers and see the penetration levels. Won't do it well. I know they can work like I said, I like my reflectors as well, but I do wish I went with better choices when spending 500 or 600 on blue perples. Only because for the money I could have done better.

Here's a few pics of some plants I growed under Marsll 1200. I got 23oz dry off of 6 autoflowers, that's over a gram per watt if my calculations is right.
I have tried several photo period strains since then and haven't been able to get them giant colas like I had on that first run lol. Autos can get huge if you get the right strain. I have recently switched to coco and I'm also waiting on my Perfect Sun Cob to arrive through the mail so I'm pretty excited to get my new light lol. Ibe been wanting one since they came out I finally saved up enough cash to get one lol. Happy growing everyone...️

Ive got a Timber 2x4 and a couple of 600 watt LED zon cheapies. Im doin alright i grow for me. Im doin alright with what i got. I know the Dwarf Star is pretty popular but i dont know if suits your needs.
Im sure you'll do fine with whatever you get, its choosing your resources thats the hard part. Once you get it all set up its your technique that matters. You just gotta find the sweet spot. Who said smoke a joint? Im down for that!

Thanks Agemon, them was some big ass autos lol. I wish I could yield like that with photos lol. Maybe I haven't found the right strain lol. I do think with my new light I will get some good yields. I had to reorder my light Thursday cause they wouldn't send it to my post office box. I had it sent to my Brothers cause my residential address is not registered with the post office yet lol. I'm hoping it comes this week sometime lol...️

If you really want to help and preach this new technology, why not throw out a decent affordable brand and size for mine or the guy thread he started ? Instead of just saying our lights are shit and where just wasting time
Are the Dominator Series COBS any good ? LushPRO ETC ?

Hi guys so on the topic of LED lights, I have a 300w mars and a 300w viperspectra aswell as a 300w CFL , I am growing 7 x autos 
4 white and 4 white diesal haze , will that be enough for there while growth ?

Im seriously no expert but that sound like alot of plants even for autos under two small led and cfl.

my suggestion would be to save your money and invest in a full spectrum led . Now I have grown with galaxy hydro 600 and 300 watt or should I say 280 and 150 watt ..it really gives you the impression that they are preforming until you get to harvest if you harvest by trichrome's (20% amber) and nothing else. watching the tric's I noticed that it was taking foooooorrrrever to even go from clear to cloudy let alone any amber ..long story short the length of time it took these ladies to ripen was truly doubled and no I did not have any light leaks whats so ever .. now im not saying all specific spectrum leds will have the drastic effect that I experienced. but I would be willing to bet that they will take longer to fully ripen than a full spectrum led and I would also put money on that's why some growers only use the burple /pink lamps for veg and flower under hid.
now I am putting my spectrum specific leds in storage and have invested in some spectrum kings ( don't need to hear haters) . research full spectrum leds and invest in some , why do you think those with the know how in building their own led's choose something closer to a full spectrum and not the burple?

What you said there is very true. I honestly think alot of new growers believe that there led is performing really well in veg, and will do just as good of job in flower.

Yes I did, I didn't go crazy with defo but I would take the ones blocking bud sites and to help open canopy up more for better air flow. I defo once at start of flower and again three weeks into flower. Then I will take a couple here and there when needed for the rest of flower. The autos that I've grown has done great with defo and topping also if done at right time...️
Can you have a look at my last pictures and tell me if I should defo more?
