Black Cherry Punch X Bop Tang Kitchenhawk Genetics In Coco

Week 7 of flowering update.

I may have been under feeding these girls, I have switched to twice a day feeding the last couple of weeks, I think all of my buds are small at this stage, even the black sugars in my other journal.

The big girl.

The smaller sister.
Her secondary branches are thin and cannot support herself, I've gathered her together and supported her like a tomato cage, hopefully she starts to thicken up a bit.

There was a noticeable difference between weeks 5 and 7, the little buds started to get a little bigger but not much but she sure is sticky!
I have been battling high humidity in this tent, living in a rain forest it's always high here all year round.

Those are some frosty looking diamonds on those branches brother. Looking good high humidity and all. :bravo:
Thanks KH.

Here's the group shot.

Some seem to have stopped pushing new pistils while others are pushing out new ones.

Wow Nice and Frosty :thumb: I have some seeds from KH Bop tang and Black cherry punch that I am planning to run after our Big Nevilles haze grow I should be ready for something shorter then a 16 week bloom time after that Lol

Sounds great, a nice fruit odor on the stem rub and super sticky!

Sunday night update.

Just a few new pistils, most of the buds stopped growing new ones and are all brown, all of the trichs are cloudy and a few ambers are starting.

I'll check again on Tuesday.

At 9 weeks last night as I was going to close the tent I saw that the smaller girl was suffering badly from the record breaking heat we've been having, causing heat and humidity issues in the tent. I do have a 16" fan above the canopy and a 6" underneath, a small dehumidifier and the tent open during the day but it wasn't enough. My exhaust fan sits idle due to the close proximity of the neighbors and that the window I exhaust from sits directly beside theirs that they also keep open 24/7! I didn't want them complaining about the odor going into their townhouse so I don't use the exhaust fan.

So I pulled her out last night and stuck her in a closet until this morning.

20200513_092432.jpg

I gave her a rough trim and chopped her down.

Her structure, one of my quadline attempts.

Now she hangs, the first time I've hung a plant to dry, I usually cut and trim branch by branch and hang them individually. We'll see how this goes.

At 9 weeks she had some amber on the sugar leaves and a few on the buds, almost all of them have stopped pushing new pistils so hopefully it still turns out to be a good smoke.
I certainly needed a carbon filter in my set up then I could have been able to run that exhaust fan.

:theband:All is quiet on New Year's Day!:tommy:
So I dropped 2 beans of black cherry punch X bop tang from @Kitchenhawk genetics at 12:30 am!
These will be grown in 3 gallon fabric pots of coco with GH trio nutrients and calmag under a 1000 watt (205 actual draw) grow light.
I will veg for 2 months and flip, I may make an attempt at a quadline if I can get the plant going without too much stretch, we shall see, I'll just see how these 2 grow out.

12:30 am bean drop!

After a 20 hour soak they went into the papertowel.

On with the show!
Can I tag along? I have some of it, too, and want to see how it grows.

At 71 days, 10 weeks of flowering I decided to chop the tall girl.

The way I like it!

Now she hangs for a few days.

20200520_163327.jpg

She is sticky and sweet smelling, I'll do a proper trim in a few days and hang her back up.

Trim and jar day for the tall girl.

20200527_131626_HDR.jpg

She has some sticky hard, dense nugs!

20200527_165205(1).jpg

Her temporary jar until I can get some smaller ones set up, which I thought I already had done.

The tall girl came in at 63.09 grams or 2.23 ounces.

The small girl came in at 25.67 grams.

Together they gave me 88.76 grams or 3.13 ounces of sticky goodness!

We'll try some from the small girl later tonight after my shift at work.

We had a tester smoke from the May 13th harvest and it was great, a bit racey at first but it leveled out after and it was a good, long happy high, I was at my shop making some noise on my guitar and drums! It was perfect for a music sesh!
This is going to be great once it cures a couple more weeks and the one from the May 20th harvest is going to be absolute fire!
