A Canadian Comparative Grow With Seedsman's Black Sugar In Coco

A midnight update.

The plant I split is still doing great.

Her sister that I messed up on the quadline because it got to compact is small and stunted.

Them together, what a difference!

But! There's always a BUT! As I was adjusting the lower wire on the big girl I snapped off a top, clean off! It's, the one nearest the exhaust fan.

She already has alternating nodes, I immediately put her in water, I'll try and clone it and give it to a buddy who wants to try a grow

What a difference with the side by side.. The one you snapped is an absolute monster..... Share the clone love
I know. 2 totally different plants. I often wonder if they are the same strain.

Yes an excellent tutorial!
I'm a bit bummed about it because she looked great! Now there's an empty spot and she looks a bit off. Oh well, it happened and she's still going strong.

Yes, she is, maybe I should have split the small one too! Haha!
What a crazy difference between the 2.

I trimmed it up, split it into 2 possible clones, dipped in rooting gel and into the pods they went, if they take then my buddy has a couple of clones, if not...oh well.

How are these coming along?
They are still alive and healthy looking, no roots out of the pods yet.

Keeping them misted once a day with some time with the dome off, I hope to see some roots within a week.

Like my other plants of the same age these look like preflowers.

Defoliation should happen tomorrow or Wednesday.

Schtrippen und flippen!

After a hectic month for this sole proprietor I finally have some time to pull these girls from the tent and defoliate them, I have to say I am not happy with this grow, the quad didn't work out for both plants.

I didn't spend enough time with these plants to properly train them, I don't think they'll yield much, I'll just let them finish from here with a defoliation after flowering stretch.

Well all that training slows things down. I will be the last to flip from the group....perhaps I have over trained.
At any rate, your plants look nice and healthy and set up for the next 2 months of fun.

They still look healthy which is a good thing. I’m sorry you’re not too happy with this grow :( hopefully they yield more than anticipated... much love
