First Grow - Critical Kush Soil

Re: First grow, critical kush soil

Well got my 600 watt back up and running yesterday.
After two days under CFL's the smaller non autos seemed to do
Great.
But the la musa auto is looking kind of pitiful..
The top leaves are curling.
She hasn't changed colors and is still as green as she was 3 days ago.
The only thing I can think of is I added a very small amount of blackstrap molasses (less than a teaspoon)
To the water last feeding..

But I fed this to all my girls and the rest aren't phased like this.

Re: First grow, critical kush soil

your plants look good. that downward clawing is called "nitrogen clawing" aka nitrogen stress. molasses is supposed to be a nice mild food, but she probably wasn't used to it and got some stress. don't worry about it, your plants look good :)

Re: First grow, critical kush soil

Really got to give it up to rare dankness!
They really know how to satisfy their customers and
Moonshine is the man!

Here the H.A out of their new line up!
I have two going and they are almost identical at this point.
Popped purple out of seed, now dark green.
Will for sure take clones of these as vigorous as they have been so far.
Hopefully they continue to strive!!

After my criticals are done I'll be dropping ghost train #8 and long peaks blue.
I'd love to sample all his genetics!

Re: First grow, critical kush soil

I would just give it clean water once or twice, no need to flush out the nutrients and bouce the soil environment around its not that bad. flush for lockout

Re: First grow, critical kush soil

Update on the las musa

Looking back just 7 days ago I can not believe how fast she has grown!
All the new growth looks a lot better than where I was at seven days ago.
No discoloration on the new growth but the older leaves are dry and crispy and I was wondering if I should pull
Them off or leave them be?
But all in all she had pulled out of her slump after pure water and no nutes whatsoever!

The Critical gals are moving along
The leaf formation is still odd and one of them is growing at a lean.
image6110.jpg

And my baby girls the hillbillys are looking very nice so far!
image6111.jpg

All in all everything is going well so far (knock on wood)
I really have high hopes for my Hillbillys and hope they flurish!
I adore the pre 98 bubbas and hope their phenols lean more towards the bubba!

Happy Skunkday Potzilla
don't forget to vote in the contests of the month :thumb:

Re: First grow, critical kush soil

This critical is starting to make me wonder if I should pop a stake in the soil and tie her up..
She's growing to the left so much that it appears the terminal shoot is growing out of the left side as well..
image6165.jpg

And the left side is starting to discolor and claw/cup like the la musa did.
She hasn't received any nutes.
She's just now coming up on a month old and her next watering was
Going to be a feeding.
image6166.jpg

On a positive note the Hillbillys are looking good even though they are younger than the criticals
And my only ghost train #8 seems to be very strong
As well!
image6167.jpg

The R.D strains are very uniform and growing very picturesque!
The criticals have looked odd and grown sideways from jump street.
I was starting to worry if it was me screwing up somehow.

Thanks for reading ,
Zilla

E komo mai
It's actually a tablet camera.

I was actually contemplating buying a nice camera for the flowering
Part of my journal.
This does well a bit away but has trouble with close ups.

Thank you for stopping in.

Re: First grow, critical kush soil

I dunno man I got a decent camera with a couple different lens but I have an easier time taking pics far at big zooms to get it in close
then I do taking close up pictures being close lol

Re: First grow, critical kush soil

Ha!
I remember reading about an iPhone winning some big
Photography contest.
Out of all these high end cameras and lenses the iPhone ended up winning.

I would just like something to get some up close shots.

I get higher off the growing aspect and beauty of the plant than toking.
Cannabis might not be addicting but raising it from seed sure is for me!
