when is the best time to give all these plants the dust if ya know what I mean? I got a GDP male just dying to stud em up

Fairly early in flower is the best time-it takes about a month for the seeds to
mature,so you don't want to wait too long...

Tomorrow it is! I intend to only pollinate a few branches of each plant, but we’ll see
Sounds like a good plan,but be careful with that stuff- a little goes a looooong way

Remember the rules before you mess with pollen. 1 Take the girl to be pollinated to a different floor or outside. 2 Take a small watercolor paint brush then lightly brush with pollen on the selected branch. 3 Take a bag and put over the pollinated branches overnight. 4 Then spray the whole plant with water before returning to the flower room/tent.Sounds like a good plan,but be careful with that stuff- a little goes a looooong way

Oh and like take a shower and change your clothes before you venture to the bloom area.
Yes that is great advice here! Specially the spraying afterwards lol.
if you don’t want unwanted pollination start witch switching off the ventilator(one mistake and all is pollinated lol).I would even go as far as putting the bag over it, pray the plant wet and then remove bag to only pollinate the dry area. That way the rest of the girl is wet and pollen should not have grip.
beside all the planning you will probably end up with a few extra pollen in that room for a few grows lolz
for the big “when” moment. I would go week 3 flower or so? They do have to develop some sort as they stop getting bigger when pollinated.

Hahaha well, I guess stuff happens at least I will have PLENTY of genetics(possibly) I did try to be as careful as possible.. but definitely went right up to the bloom room after doing it in the same shirt, only hands washed :s

You will be fine and if Things really got pollinated you will have a life stock of beans

Only time will tell my friend. Most white hairs turn orange and you can see the calyx having a slice in the middle Sometimes. Otherwise it’s just fat calyx Search and when you think they done just test a few... tiger stripes is what you are looking for in the end

I actually get excited about seeds as long as they are viable and don't weigh more than the buds. Pollinating can be tricky . Know it was for me. And still learning.

The calyxes will usually turn from white to orange/amber. But sometimes you can't tel till they swell.

I know it is really nice to find some seeds and see the grams stacking up in your mind lol. They will get heavy though...

Big interest in the breeding side of it because I'm may end up with a male wedding cake. Of soon will cross it with purple punch or gorilla skittlez or maybe shishkaberry.. which ever turns out with the best phenos.
She may be a female though so who knows.

Breeding is so much fun! Maybe it’s good to check the effects before crossing? Then find the perfect pheno from the strain you prefer most? Just a thought

Noticed you can pick up pollen at quite a few dispensary's in Denver now. New to me. Was eyeballing them going to see The Who there this spring. Like the idea of the control of that.
