Thunder & lightning's cool hey Alk? And boy did we have a big bang here the other day in Northern Cali. that sounded like the skies were opening up & sent me running for my camera to catch the bolts of lightning crashing down & I missed by a few seconds of getting a good shot of course. Bummer!
And nice looking harvest so far with the beer bottle size colas of what is that the giggity giggity Gigabud possibly? Hope your having fun trimming as you've got a lot of work ahead mate & I don't envy by any means knowing what it takes.

ok all, as i mentioned above i went over to the room today and decided to give them the chop... day 50 in flower, 81 days total grow time.

i only had a chance to give the gurls a minimal flush which im not happy about.. but decided, due to circumstances, today was the day.
it took 4 of us just over 5 hours of SOLID trimming- 2 of us finger trimming and the other 2 trimming up what we didnt get by hand(latex gloves of course!) and i can tell you- i feel wired as FEK!!!

the total wet weight was a little over 100 ounces for 4x gigabuds(101 ounces exact), 74.5 ounces for 3x pineapple expresses and 27.5 ounces for the OG Kush.. so all up we got 202 ounces WET.

im expecting to lose 2 thirds of the weight... so am aiming to keep 33 ounces gigabud, 25 pineapple express and 9 ounces for the OGK giving a guestimate total of approx 67 ounces dry weight, which converts to a little over 4 pound.
i go with an rounded up ounce of 28 grams.. based on this a pound will round out at about 448grams... times that by 4 and we get 1792grams... if my guestimate turns out to be at all close to accurate then i have come pretty darn close to 1GPW! using 3x 600W hps lights(=1800watts)
i will split this in half with my grow partner.. except for the OG Kush which i will be taking 17.5 grams and leave her with 10.. so all up i have 17.5 Oz OGK, 50.5 Oz gigabud and 37.5 Oz pineapple- dry, im expecting just over a pound of gigabud(=17 Oz), 12.5 Oz pineapple express and around 5-6 Oz OGK.. just over 2pound delectable nugs.. time to go SOLO!! LOL

i have to say that i have been happy with the flairform range of nutes.. and i didnt use a few items which i will in my next grows... my last 2 grows have been using this line and the difference between these 2 and my first grow with this hydro system has been like chalk and cheese.. ime i would recommend this line to anyone.

yeah if its one thing i REALLy love its the primal forces of nature at her best in a storm there's just something about the power of our mother nature which is just so damned invigorating! yeah bro.. spent all arvo trimming- havent got to cleaning yet- thinking i might leave that to my partner for now thanking you kindly smecial k! and you know all too well the tedium of trimming and manicuring!! starts out all gravy and awesome... after a while you start to lose that initial excitement as you see the small mountain of branches that need to be trimmed- not seeming to get any smaller!! LOL it wasnt so bad tho.. i only had 8 small plants.. so the 4 of us were able to make a dent in the trimming pretty quick- i can imagine the grind of you having to trim your legal greenhouse grow CM!! good lord! LOL that must be something in the region of weeks??
i'll be packing all my gear up asap- this week will be moved back home... then a week or so before i get my tent up n running- just a small tent for now- 3m wide x 1.5m deep x 2m high.. will work well for the configuration of my little hydro system..

Bmeat- they smell quite sweet- and quite strong.. one i cut smelled EXACTLY like freshly cut 'feijoa' fruit- was amazing

A+ Awesome grow there mate. I was looking into tudes description of the gigabud, is that from G13 labs? What do you think about there 5-6 week flowering time? Very curious about the speed and of course the yield which seems to be great. What do you think about it now that you've grown it? Are you going to grow it again?

yeah its the g13 labs gigabud.. as was the pineapple express. looking at the grow i think it was sufficient- the buds came up HIGHLy resinous and very sweet aND REALLy aromatic even.. almost fruity sweet- like feijoa if you know the fruit. as far as ive heard about g13 labs gigabud there are mainly 2 pheno variants... one good and the other even better with larger flowers.. but as i saw it they came out ok- i dont know if i would grow it again though- probably not, although from the small taste ive had of it today i LOVE the flavour alot and would consider growing it again for the taste alone
