I totally agree with you Langa but my SLH in my fisrt grow journal never had any problems at all, and thats using the same nutes so im at a loss trying to explain it, maybe i never shook my bottle enough lol who knows??
My problem has come back with the gigabud but the buds are forming quite well and the pistils look bright white and healthy so I dont know whats going on lol
According to g13 labs the gigabud should be ready on the 15th of august so it may be normal for the leaves to be loosing colour although i think its more of a eight week strain thatn a 5-6 week one! oh god!!!
Hey dude I've been growing g-13 labs gigabud for a long while now and I can tell you it like nutes. It finishes in 8-9 weeks depending and really sucks the nutes. I use flora series which contains a good amount of nitrogen the whole ride and it solves the premature yellowing. Mix in some veg nutes with your bloom and you will be on the right track.
I watched some test conducted by advanced nutrients and through their testing they claimed the MMJ uses just as much N during flowering as it does P and K. I dont know if I agree 100% but it does hold some truth because I bloom with heavy N the whole ride and my nugs are pretty damn nice.
People will tell you they dont like to smoke nitrogen but if you get asked that, return and say "thats why I FLUSH my plants" because its true, flushing removes salts and nutrients and then your leafs will yellow. IMO id rather not have my plants yellow during heavy bud formation I.E. 4th, 5th, 6th weeks rather the last weeks of ripening like during the flush.
