Indoor - Mauiwauiguy's Journal 2014

Thanks for your insight my brother.

I shall not worry for now unless I see it get worse.

Well I talked with another grower yesterday about my yellowing leaves. He seems to think I may be under watering. I have bought a soil humidity tester and usually water when it starts to get just above 'Dry'. When I do water, I always get run off. I tend to water every 3rd day.

Do you think this may contributing to the issue? I have to believe you guys about the low nitrogen and old age.

What say you premium growers?

Maui

Ah hah! I see it now. When you said base of leaves my brain said lower leaves... and I didn't really notice anything.

That doesn't look like old age fade to me. Those spots look nearly dead. Have you checked for pests? Perhaps something is snacking on the leaves near the stem/leaf junction.

Oh, I'm far from a premium grower by the way :p

Regarding your watering: Sounds like you have a perfect routine to me. You are getting both dry and saturation cycles but not extreme in either direction.

One more quick question: It looks like it could be burn as well. Could it be from the SNS-244? Perhaps pooling?

/Obi

Damn Obi Wan I think you nailed it. I bet that is exactly what was, pooling of SNS. I stopped using the SNS as I didn't feel it was working as well as other fungicide.
I have looked for critters and don't see any.
As for the leaf being dead, I don't think so as they are still supple not dried out at all. I will keep an eye on these and make sure I don't see it in new growth.

As for the water, I don't see that my girls are suffering at all with my watering now so will not change.

Thank you for your input +reps

Update:

Holy buckets Batman. I bought a 60x loupe to look at trichomes (Sp?) and WOW. I have never seen anything like it. They are clear at this point so have a while to go. 3 weeks anyway I think.
On a new front though, my daughter and I were considering the strain that I think I am growing. We are not so sure that it is GDP. After doing some reading about GDP, it is a predominately and Indica where we think these girls look more like a sativa. What do you all think?
Either way, I may have got something other than GDP but these girls should be chronic. I will post some new pics in a week.

Girls are looking great Maui. It's cool to see trichroms. Makes for a completely different prospective. :goodjob::cheer::circle-of-love::circle-of-love:

Hey man, plants are looking good!

GDP is some dense stuff! Certainly some of the prettiest flowers that I've ever seen. Hopefully it turns out that way for you :)

Keep up the good work :thumb:

Good Morning,

Been away for a week and the girls have plumped. I will post some bud porn tonight. I think they have at least 2 weeks maybe 3 to go. I have checked the Trichomes with my loupe and the are all still clear.

OMG Dadums, you know it. They are soooooo pretty and begging to be smoked. But I know I have to wait. The last 2 weeks is when they get bigger I hear so I wait.

Oh and the smell in the tent is heavenly!!
