Lost In The Fog

Back from the dead, folks!

and I brought a souvenir! Bought this fan to be sure Ikaros won't be pulling unfiltered air from tent. Will use this fan in the inlet to grow space. Will start to move lights tomorrow and hopefully I will be running Ikaros by sunset. :D

The trip was an adventure by it self, experienced the biggest loss in both sensory and motor function in my right arm during this time and still feels like a block of ice. The doctor was very thorough with the exam and was impressed with my letter and the other papers I filled out prior to this visit. After the exam he explained his findings on me and concluded that my nerves are very damaged and probably wont come back in any greater extent but he wants to map them up before starting Botox treatment and the hope is I will get some pain reduction from it.

That doctor sounds at least as thorough with his exam as you are with your project planning! He's a keeper I'm guessing. I'm hoping the nerve damage I suffered during the surgery isn't permanent, but the doctor left me with the feeling it is. No pain from it, but there are spots that are numb next to spots that are weirdly sensitive. Hard to describe...

I'm looking forward to seeing Ikaros in action...periscope UP!

Yes hes taken control over my medication, I'm suppose to take anyway, and all planing regarding this. My home doctor still have the control over my sick percentage in work state so until 16 dec I'm still 100% sick in that meaning. The new doc want's me off the Tramadol I'm taking and I agree with it but some dark part of me still wants to keep on them. All though I don't agree with his approach with the other meds... Wish I could share my own findings with my medication with him.

Hard to describe...

Ah! You put the spot on it! :D

I think you will get maybe not 100% back but close, my fuckup sits in the harness going in to the spine from my arm he says. Your nerves should repair locally in the cut, it did in my face when they cut out that gland on me as well and I had no feeling there for a few weeks at least before it came back. Now it just feels like double skin feeling on the scar, its not even an inch long. You will be fine Shed! :)

periscope UP!

You bet! I almost hope I get to see some flames, at least, the first night running.

I know this feeling all too well! Collarbone.. titanium plate and a few screws... some parts are wicked sensitive that make me cringe... others just tingley numbness....

glad you found a doc that is taking you seriously crazy!! Now if only they would allow you medical marijuana exemption! Lol

Yeah I'm very glad I eventually got to meet one of these gurus. But I'm skeptic to their methods, I think they are always acting in regards to the law and interests to the state here. I wish I had the cojones to say what I feel about their choice of methods and how they affect people in general but I also know that all people aren't in the position/state to make their own decisions for their own benefit. I want to think I'm way ahead of what all the specialists are saying here but maybe I'm just lost in my own fog. Who knows... Thx for supporting me Pj, it means a lot, and IF everything goes south here I will be taking that trip to your farm. :D
:smokin:

I know you are all looking forward to the insanity of my projects. I promised a running Ikaros today but I was too optimistic with time as always. I started to prepare the ventilation parts today, there is still one problem left for me to solve before I can run Ikaros and that is either to make another hole through the wall for the hot air coming from Ikaros or use existing ventilation in some way without making to much disturbance in pressures or suction to make some unwanted back flow some where.

This is how the whistle pipe looks like mounted any way.

I would like to build another containment for the scrubber, the new filter is way to tight wedged in that pipe now and making it hard for the fan to keep air circulating through the scrubber resulting in less suction from the tents. Maybe will build a new one in 6mm mdf and move the fan to sit directly on the filter itself. This should give me some more space to build another muffler for this big fan. With that new muffler I should be able to get a nice connection to Ikaros venting with not too much pressure to overcome for that smaller fan. I will see how much I'm able to do today, still feel tired since the visit to the clinic. Day cycle coming up in 1,5h :D

Crazy out! :blunt:
