Hey spyder..use both lights absolutely for flowering..yes they usually double in size..if you can bend the tops over now while the stems are bendable if u can..I use pipe cleaners..there easy to use..they will turn back up to the light in a day or two. .but don't wait to long brother or they won't bend..let me know how u make out.and yes topping should be done at the 5 node when little..but that don't mean they won't get tall..

Question. Are you using just bloom light or are you using bloom and veg? Is there any advantage to using both on these lights. I switched over to flower last week. I should send you some pics they're really stretching. Especially the purple kush. Should of topped them all.. ah well. I may run out of room in my tent before to long. Grower problems.

Honestly I don't know..seems like power is somehow going through the pull chain switch..even when off it keeps the ends of the tube with a faint white glow. .it's in the trash..think things are going to be ok..never knew it was on..it's mean I don't go in there at lights out..but I'm glad I did..just had a feeling something was up by the plants progress..


not much to report tonite..went in a trimmed a whole lot of small shit off the bottoms that arnt going to amount to nothing..got half done..lot of work..

New pics for everyone. .still have about 5 plants that won't bud..think the light leak screwed them up good.i mean there growing fans still..think they went back to veg.and one stretched like 5 inches more since fixing the light leak..im watching close for hermies..

It's amazing how much impact a low light condition has on the plants. That was my problem for the longest time. Maybe good for hash...good for something at the very least. The rest of your grow should soothe your worries...massively!

Forsure..it screwed this grow up but I just have to get through it . at least I'm getting buds now on most of them..there like 3 weeks behind from what they should be I'd say...

It's amazing how much impact a low light condition has on the plants. That was my problem for the longest time. Maybe good for hash...good for something at the very least. The rest of your grow should soothe your worries...massively!

They'll be behind but they'll be full of buds. Unfortunate to hear of the light leak from the tips of those tubes, but at least it was found. I'm thinking the luxes weren't enough to affect the others. I hope there's no hermie issues, but I'm sure you'll be watching closely. Good luck oldschool,

I was going to foliar feed a little, I can't remember ratio of big bloom for 1 gal of water. Also you keep expanding, looking good . I've been working 100 hrs a week out of town, haven't been able to take few pics and post. I'm going to try to start a journal with 1 sour diesal under 1 pro series using scrog, I bought a scrog kit from scrogco. Their kits seem to be well built, all metal. I've never scrogg ed before, maybe the journal can give me some help and info. Keep up the good work ol bud

Thanks, I thought it was a 1/ 4 couldn't remember, I'm curious about the Scrogging, I figure 1 light has about same footprint as my screen, 2ft x 3ft. Also I started plant in a 7 gal pot, its just 18 days from sprouting and already topped it, started 4th node. I do have an auto-flower, candy cane, started it 1st of august, and it's frosty about 18 inches tall and budding good, thanks for the help

Here's what's up..well after a slow start from the light leak things are picking up..budding is getting better..two more started budding finally..so no I got like 5 still in veg..one thing I am happy is the tight nodes..should make for some bigums..got some nute burn on the white widows. .but I'm not changing nutes for them..I got too many strains to mix different levels..and of course I have no watering schedule at all..all drinking different..but I'm still cofident it's goin to turn out great..

New update..all but two are still in veg.crown royale clones.finally showing progress..trimmed for couple hours..had to put poles in to hold up these bigger monsters..the white widows have a issue..gonna flush them tomorrow. .9 weeks of flowering and this is where I'm at. .so far behind..maybe by Nov I'll have something. .had to crop 2 of the crown royals. .man they get tall.by THE Way ALL THE TALL GIRLS ARE CR clones...that's bout it..till next time..
