Here they are Red Dawg! The Vita Lite Twist! These are totally old school! I remember my uncle using these as cloning and veg lites in the late 80s'. In the mid 90s' they started getting a bad rap as grow lights and then disappeared. I think the bad talk they got was more of grower issues rather than the light but I digress.
Then the T5 came along and these became dinosaurs. You might be able to find them at a garage sale or in an old pet stores' nos inventory.
They were originally for salt water aquariums and even those guys use mh now.
But guess what? They were in fact T12HO!
EDIT: Just found some for sale from only one website. $37 per bulb I remember when they were $14 per bulb

Wow,, I have never seen one.. And Ive been into Salt Water Tanks since the 90's,, lol .. Crazy maaaan,, just crrrazy !! .. If theyre anywhere near as the new ones I have they are SunGlass Material !! Do you have the Fixture for them too,, or do they just plug into any old Flourescent Tube Fixture ??
