Radogast 2016 - The Neverending Growing

The flowering girls go outside for a slumber party

Tomorrow morning, the home inspector and prospective owner take a couple of hours to look at the structure and stability of the house. During their showing, the flower room was a locked room in the basement. For the inspection before purchase, the flower room needs to come down.

Girl Scout Cookies - 61 days in the flowering room. She stands about 3 feet tall.

The rest of the girls are smaller, as they were sent into flower early (55 days ago) so we could show the house.

Breeder seed Lachesis - Showing her purple and her seeds

Caramelicious Latrice Royale - she had a lot of stretch and needed supercropping of the main cola. Her buds are growing airy.

Giselle grew slow and will yield a few grams - grandmother Giselle yielded 6.5 oz

Hawaiian Skunk Flower - I was looking forward to cloning her several times.

This was my last Hawaiian Skunk seed. I'm glad she produced seeds

Caramelicious Quiffa - A favorite from my first grow, cloned 3 times.

Given another 3 weeks in veg, this might have been a monster cola

I'm looking forward to her seeds.

Tangerine Dream Ghita - Local genetics similar to Tangerine Dream - again with seeds.

All these seeds come at an opportune time. The father is either a White Widow I was growing, or more likely some pollen from the neighborhood growers. The town grows some good quality cannabis, so I'm optimistic about the seeds.

I've spent the last few days moving the schedule an hour a day to get the girls ready for a day outside the flower room. For tonight, and the inspection, the girls will stay tucked in the 4x5' storage cubby where I usually store the barbecue grill.

Drying harvest, marijuana recommendation certificate, and a 4.5' PVC bong tucked in with the flowering girls.

I screwed the locker door shut. If they ask, I got tired of the latch popping open last winter and screwed it shut.

The flowering room stripped to bare walls. No 4x8' flood tray, lights, fans or reflective, light blocking liner.

I'll reinstall the flood tray, lights and fans after the inspection. Now that we have leaves on the trees, (if it's not too windy) the girls can enjoy a day outside while I rebuild the room.

Hey there Rad - good luck and positive vibes your way on the intruders...errr visitors. I'm feeling your angst. I need to have some work done at our home and need to find a contractor/friend I can trust... probably not in the cards for me... I only trust the inner circle and even then only family that's in the inner circle.

Kinda makes me think of what I would do in your situation. I'm thinking get one of those PODS - you know for shipping stuff and set it down in the drive way and set up my flower room inside... hahahaha have to light proof it but hey I'd probably set up a tent inside the POD! Thanks for sharing you situation, I'm going to be where you are at some point in our near future.

The girls survived the 3 hour inspection with only the minor issue of leaning

This is great timing for you to get seeds!

Fingers crossed that these are the right buyers! :thumb:

I looked inside the storage locker to see if seeds fell off - no stray seeds were found.

I left the girls out in the backyard sun while I re-assembled the flower room.

First step, maneuver the 4x8' flood tray into the 4.5 x 8' room through a 26" doorway.

20160524_133003-1.jpg

re-install fan, temp controller for fan, flexible ducting, eye screws, hangers, light hoods, ballasts, timer, and cords.

I did not re-install the panda liner - black to stop light on one side, white to reflect light on the other.
The room now has LOTS of light leaks for the final 5-15 days of flowering.

Good to hear. I hope things get back to normal for you and the girls soon!

Can't stop right now for normal. Spackling, painting and most packing of the main house is done. Delivered 2 body bag sized bags of stuffed toys to the local charity today. Gave walker, cane, and crutches to the senior center.

I'm going offline for 72 hours to fly to our future home city and look for a house to buy. Our travel day starts at 3 AM. A realtor will be waiting for us when the plane lands. Inexpensive, quality houses will now compete for the privelege of becoming our next home.

After we return, I have a the garden storage, basement, and garage to sort, pack, and clean :)

5 days ago, I dis-assembled the flowering room and hid the girls in a storage locker in preparation for a buyer's house inspection.

4 days ago, I re-assembled the flowering room and was thinking about light leaks as I packed to leave town for 3 days.

Today, I discovered the string of Christmas lights I hung up as task lighting to re-assemble the room were left on for the last 4 nights.

The girls will be ready for harvest next week. Hermie this late in flowering seems unlikely.

Unintentional night lights

Seeds picked out from AK47 shake. ( Probably AK47 x White Widow)

That could be an interesting cross Rad. I've never tried AK-47, but I do like White Widow.

Old place - Everything complete with the sale except the closing

New Place - Offer accepted. The 120 year old stone basement includes multiple 11' wide 7' tall brick wall and concrete floor rooms for growing.

I believe that deserves a full-throated ~ w00t!~ :partyboy::yahoo:

I'm so friggin jealous! A basement would be wonderful for about 1billion different reasons in a hot ass world. Unfortunately, they don't build basements in the swamplands.
Happy you found a house that fits your growing needs so well. I'll assume it's a good fit for living in as well.
My home is well over 100yrs old as well. When I was doing some siding replacement, I discovered round cypress logs holding up the corners of the house. I replaced about 1/2 the studs, but those cypress logs were in great shape.
