I went out and got a 60-100x Lighted Microscope and what a pain in the ass it is to use!!!!!
One slight movement and focus is gone, eye lashes getting in the way...I think it would work easier if I ripped a small piece of the plant off and put it on a flat surface...
Anyways, I was able to get a clear view on each plant and the trichomes looks mostly cloudy from what I can tell, but only the tips of them or the parts that looks like a ball. The stems (if that's what they are called) are clear. About 10% of the white hairs are starting to turn color and its only on the very top buds closest to the lights.

When the lights are off in my tent, the temps stay around 70 degrees and 40-45%. Do you think it would be ok to hang them in the tent for 10 days until I get back?
You could but they may over dry, if I hung them in the tent I wouldn’t trim. Just hang the entire plant including the fan leaves. That should slow down the process.

I am afraid that they will be dry and crispy and no chance to cure by the time you get back. I like the low and slow refrigerator method for you to save this crop with.

or let them grow some more while you are gone... reduce the light and risk over ripe rather than over dry. have your friend cut the lights on the last 3 days of your trip.

I think I like this idea a lot better! I leave on day 54 of flower and come back on day 64. Does 64 days seem long for an Indica strain? I know trichomes are a better indicator when to harvest, but this is the only way for me to estimate my actual harvest time at this point.

I have had many indica that go to 70 days... you should be fine with this plan.

Kind of hard to see from the pics, but the growth the past couple days has been pretty crazy! Almost done 4th week of flowering!
I'm noticing a couple leaves are doing some weird curling....not to sure why. I've been reading Nitrogen toxicity, but I don't think that's it. They are getting water every two days. I'm pretty sure I'm not over/under watering them.
Maybe back off the nutrients a bit? I'm now giving them 100% strength.
Any ideas?

they are looking good, but I agree with your assessment looking at some of the downturned leaves... I would back off on the nutes by a bit just to see how they react, but I would be ready to go right back to full strength in the next few weeks too.

Buds are getting fatter and a lot more dense...
Giving them 100% strength nutrients now. Just micro, bloom and cal mag.
Starting to see some black spots over two of the plants. Almost looks like mold to me. Rh% is 40-45 and have two fans, one blowing over the canopy and another blowing under the canopy....
I'm gonna flush them next week which is a couple of days before I leave for my vacation. Got a house sitter to keep up with the watering and like Emilya suggested, I'll get the house sitter to cut the lights 3 days before I get back. I'll be back on day 69 of flower. Hopefully the timing all works out..

Could be a deficiency starting but your so close I wouldn’t worry to much about it.

Think I should turn up the fans and drop the humidity by taking some buckets of sitting water out of the tent?
