Rule Andrews’s, Soil Unknown, Jack Herer Grow Journal 2018, 1200 Watt LED

I can't seem to get the humidity above 35%, I've tried one last thing before going out and buying a little humidifier. Along with the wet towel dipped in water, I've places a baby bathtub full of water on the other side underneith the air intake with a fan blowing over it.

Also, I'm now getting some rust colouring on the leaves and a lot of them are still curling down and under...

Ph going in is 6.0 to 6.3

Using 75% strength nutrients and calmag ppm going in is 950.

Temps got to 27° today, but usually 24°

RH 35 %

Extraction fan has been turned down

Any ideas?

I'm not too sure how to answer that.

I can tell you what I'm using and how much...I'm using General Hydroponics Flora Grow, Micro and Bloom. I'm following the chart online for early bloom and using about 75% of what they are recommending.

I kept the nutrients the same right now, but increased the cal mag on the one plant as there was only one plant showing the rust colour on the leaves. I also did some pruning.

The towel dipped in the water along with the baby bath full of water brought the humidity up to 42%!

I'll be keeping a close eye for any changes and make adjustments based on that...

I didn't wanna drop the nutrients to 50% then increase the cal mag because I wouldn't know which one made the difference.

I absolutely love this site! There is so much info and such good help. I wish I was able to contribute more, but my knowledge is very limited. As I progress and get more grows under my belt, I will definitely be transferring some of my knowledge to others as you have all done for me!

Thank you!!!

I'm wondering how much it would benefit if I added 400 watt hps lamp in the tent 3 weeks into flowering? Its got an 8" cool tube so I'll have it inline with my extraction fan to keep the heat down.
Thoughts?

As long as you dont burn your plants, it is hard to object to more light. Some people go crazy with it... I used to run two 600w bulbs in my flower tent. This time I am going to run 6000w of LED lights (well, running at 10%), but still... its a lot of light. That 400 might just make the difference between having light and whispy buds to having rock hard nugs... even 3 weeks in, it has to make a difference. Just be sure to gently ease it in.

Got it's hanging in the tent next to the two LED's, gonna leave it for an hour or so and see what the temps do. I might not even need to put any cool air over it....
