Yes, you really want lower RH in flower anyway... this is one of the reasons. Get a breeze going in there.

Because of the timing of my vacation, I'm going to have to flush the plant 19 days before harvest.
I know two weeks is the norm, but would the extra 5 days matter that much?

Not sure, but they won’t have any nutrients left by the time you get back. You’ll have to chop as soon as you get home I’m guessing.

That was the plan. I was going to get my house sitter to cut the lights 3 days before I get back and chop them down the day I get back.

I'm also going to leave Ph'd water in buckets for her to use to water the plants. When she cuts the lights, that will be the last watering...

Next time I am going to plan my grow and vacations a little better so they don't over lap...

I'm trying to figure out a way that she wont have to deal with disposing the run off water. I was thinking that i'll rig up some sort of screen on top of some 5 gallon buckets and put the plants on that screen. I'll just have to raise up all the lights. That way, as shes watering, all the run off water will be collected in the 5 gallon pales and I can just dispose of that when I get back. Kinda what I am thinking.

I'll have to take some when I get back home, but if you go back to the previous page, I posted some pictures of when it started. Its just like those pictures, but more and more leaves are turning that way. Its also only two of the four plants.

A little update before I leave!
Day 49 today.
I flushed the plants a few days ago with 5 gallons each and set things up so the house sitter only needs to worry about giving water. I have ph'd water set a side for them. I got the plants on top of 5 gallon buckets with holes in the lids. That way the water can drain in the buckets and I'll empty them when I get home.

Light and water will be cut off on day 59.
I'll harvest on day 62. Hope the timing all works out!

Here are some pics that my house sitter sent me while I was away as well as the harvested bud hug up.

It's been 2 days since I've chopped them down. Temps in the tent are 65 - 68
RH is 45%.

I gave all the buds a quick trim to get most of the leaves off. Before I jar them, I will give them a final manicure trim. I just got my Boveda 62 packs in the mail which will be in the jars when they are ready to go in!!!

Not sure whats going on here, but while inspecting my hanging buds, im noticing some of the buds have seeds. How could this be? All 4 plants were females and never shown any signs other than that. Also, some of the buds have little yellow flowers. It seems about 15 to 20 % of the bud is affected.
The 3 males that were in the tent, were thrown out within a week of showing their sex. Is it possible thatbthe males could have affected the females thats early on?

finding male flowers in your buds says that for some reason you had some buds hermi on you. That explains the seeds, but I would definitely suspect something was amiss... This situation can be produced at will by overgrowing our plants... by extending out the flower season way longer than ripe... and the plants will do what they will to continue the species. Early like this can be genetic, can be proximity to a stressor, such as close to the lights, wind, a constant light leak...
It happens... just put those buds in another pile and they are the ones that you smoke with your brother in law.

Damn, just getting into manicuring some of the drier bud and lots more seeds. I think I f'ed this whole grow up some how...

So turns out 2 of the 4 plants have seeds. Man, this is a bit of a piss off. I was so careful and thought I did everything right. I guess this is the risk when growing unknown seeds.

Going this weekend to get some reputable seeds and try again!

Anyways, bud are in jars and humidity is stablized around 65%. Gonna cure for another week or so.

Weight as of this morning was approx 330 grams.



Gonna test it out tomorrow and see what it's like....


My next grow should be started next week. I'll keep it updated and I progress.
