I've been clipping a leaf or 2 every couple days as needed. Pretty much if she lets a leaf get past 50% dead I just go ahead and cut it.

I'll research defoliation and make a determination. So far I've had a pretty hands off approach. Something about the old "if it ain't broke" motto. The plant astonishes me every time I look at it and I don't wanna risk any damage by messing with her too much

Defo def works for alot of situations from what Iv read and seen. Especially letting them grow upward, where little light reaches the lower part of the plant. Results cant be denied. But I wonder if seeing how you are using cfls, if adding lights around the lower part of the plant wouldnt be better. Keeping in mind Most of what I know is from reading and not hands on experience. And nothing beats experience. But would it not be better to do that. Or do you all think that the tops of the colas should always be the main focus. I.E gutting the bottom part so the tops have more energy and resources?

My light is focused on the top. I do have 2 bulbs on the sides though. I'm sure it doesn't hurt lol.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the support. I'm switching her to a 1 : 3 : 1 organic bloom booster. I'll be using that for the final couple weeks until the final flush.

Day 47. The buds are fattening and making more trichs every time I check. Pistils are slowly turning orange. I'm contemplating starting her final flush this week and possibly harvesting in about 10 days. I'll have to see how she is doing next weekend. Enjoy the pics and thank you everyone for checking in!

I just can't have her growing too much longer. The smell is uncontrollable and is now very distinct and strong. Hard to have guests and family over when half my house smells like Woodstock lol. I agree she is absolutely not in her peak yet but hopefully in a week or so she will be close. Sadly it looks like I'm gonna have to learn this lesson the hard way though. No more growing in my living space haha

Yea your really gonna need a tent or something with a carbon filter if you cant have the smell. Still, I would stick it out. Whats another week or so? Its alot in the plants life, but not in yours. But im not sitting here with my house smelling of Mary so its easy for me to say.
