The 70's 4th Grow! Nanaz, Nanaglue, AppleFritter & Slurricane

Good morning growers, i hope you are all well, and your plants are thriving !

Here are some pics, i believe they are almost 2wks from seeds…

They got a little splash of PH’d water this morning, i do wish it was warmer, but they seem fine…

Even though its chilly by my standards my chart says its all good 😊

Hello growers 🌞 Hope you are all happy and healthy. Im into week 3 with these gals, they are coming along nicely. I have lowered the light intensity as im getting a little burn, i’ll watch them closely over the next week.

Applefritter is a second time growing and it can take all kinds of light, so i can’t gauge lite by her, her two sisters woukd like a little less so im backkng off a little

Its an easy environment to maintain with these controllers and associated equipment.

Good morning Growers 🌞 Today is/was up-pot day, they are all in their new 3gal pots and, i’m very happy to see the medium crumble when i was transplanting. It was very airy and the roots looked white and happy. I do add xtra worm castings and perlite. I super charge the soil with Gaia Greens 444, 3tbls per gallon as recommended by them. The lites are at 30% and watts are 212, which is different than the controler reads, np.

I dont water right away, the little pots they were in had enough moisture, so im gonna let the old soil and new soil acclimate… 🤔

AppleFritter is so hardy, i think i could water It with gasoline and it wouldn’t complain 😂😂

I can tell when the plants are really digging into the new soil. I first watered the plants a day after transplanting so the soil would equalize. I soaked it with run off, and didnt water again for a week. i let em go dry to droop ever so slightly after having soaked em a week prior, and then soaked em good, they are light now after 3 days, roots are digging in nicely, im also topping them again.
In a week they will get defoliated and tied down once the topping stress has subsided, i have never seem signs of shock, but they do slow their growing roll

These girls lost about 7” of height on the LST day. They are going into wk6 so the DLI is around 45.

My neighbor came by on his JD Tractor a few weeks ago and asked me if i was ready to get the 6yds of topsoil out of my driveway before winter gets here ? I said yes and in 30min he saved me an all day ordeal using a shovel and wheelbarrow 😫

I gave him about 3/4 of an ounce of my Punchcake after sheepishly asking him if he smokes :bongrip: …..he gladly accepted my gift in exchange for his gracious offer to move my dirt, he did this all on his observation of the big ass pike of dirt that wasnt moving.

Hey growers, The girls got a defoliation this morning, im really seeing the benefits to chopping out the unnecessary branches and fan leaves giving them more breathing room.
They are in wk6 but all the topping and chopping, they are gonna need a few weeks of “catchup”.

The last grow’s trimming went well because im getting more aggressive with trimming and lollipoping. Starting to wrap my head around this process little at a time.

The other day, I did a round of branch trimming, defoliating, and LST, i can now see how my plant stop 🛑 growing, like literally they just freeze for a few days.
Its been a few days and they got full pots of water and im gonna let dm go crazy the next 2-3wks.
nothing better that OJT when it comes to growing

Hello growers!
These girls took their sweet time bouncing back from branch picking and choosing who gets axed 🪓 , and defoliating they look super ready to begin flowering! I can almost see em s•t•r•e•t•c•i•n•g But not just yet, they gotta get up potted to 5gal pots and fresh super soil☺️

Hello Growers, last week of Veg for these girls, im looking forward to see what the stretch will look like, im gonna do a good pruning of pesky little do nothing branches once they get into their final 5gal pots. Then prior to week 3 bud grow i’ll nip whatever grew in that 3wk stretch. I did this last grow and it made trimming a breeze, and left me with a yield of beautiful buds, im gonna weigh them today after a 6wk cure😊

When i water, i turn off the fans and humidifier so me and the girls can listen to music 🎶
This mornings selection was Crosby Stills Nash (CSN) on Pandora 😊

I ran into a problem that im working on. When my current pots have run out of nutrients and im ready to transplant, which is how i usually do it, there is a nutrient deficiency until the roots can get into the new soil and start uptaking nutrients again. This happens when i go fron 2.5gal to 5gal exclusively . My plan next time is to transplant when they are dry and water with a cal/mag+ solution of water for the inbetween time……

I gave em a good soaking today, they are lime green, its happened before 🤷‍♂️ my guess in a few days they should start to turn dark green before i flip to 12/12

I’m guessing on their bounce back time, when they bounce back, thats when they will be back 😂😂😂

CalMag+ to the rescue !!! We’re back to being deep green after 4days of treatment. Im watering with a half dose today, the roots will be moving into the new amended soil, so for now they are fine

Gonna let em settle in for a week before the flip 😁

I top dress every 3 wks in flower to avoid issues, next application will be just 284 Bloom 5tbsp per pot☺️

Thd plants bounced back so i did a pre flower pruning, and defoliating. Its a nerve wrecking procedure, i lack confidence but im done for now, i’ll water with a slight calmag+, maybe 25% just to cover my ass.

****So, for my own edification i am in week 9 of veg because of a nitrogen deficiency and it took a week to rectify. I pruned tonight, i’ll water 💦 tomorrow and wait a week to flip lites should they bounce back quicker than i figured, this is the longest veg, it’ll be 10wks when i flip the lites to 12/12****

The girls are thriving as they complete their 1st week of flower. Dli is 40/PAR is 950. Watering every 3days.
I use a trellis but after a few glows i do it a little different. I use to squish all the tops down bending them and then waiting for more stretch and keep doingvthe same. I now raise the trellis as thet grow, i dont squish, around the second werk of stretch i’ll maybe tuck one or two real stretchers. What i learned is that as the stretch completes the branches stiffen up, i didnt realize this until i questioned it online.
